May mens open, smashing welcome
Small practice area near 18th green, the course in good condition but greens 3 types of grass but putted OK just looked average. fringes rock hard in MAY and plenty of bare areas. rough cut down and hay everywhere. 14 onwards spoil the course for me, not a great layout or overly interesting.Organisers excellent and really lovely welcome and the club, sadly not for me sorry for being harsh.
I was recommended the course by a friend and made the 1hr30min drive really didn't merit the effort but at £15 not the end of the world.

Fairly forgiving course, but some tricky holes where you need to keep out of he rough or your ball is gone.

Played as part of a society, package was good, course in good condition, unusual entrance to the course on the exit of the BP station on the A1, enjoyed the day.

Good course, great views
Society day, excellent weather. Good course with a wide variety of holes - some long and challenging par 4s, some short and quriky ones. Greens large and tricky to read, especially as they've been recently sanded and spiked. A good day.Reviewer Rating

Great Course
Went on a winter warmer , ?38 with bacon cob and coffee before tee off. Course was immaculate given all the rain, it obviously dries really well. No boggy areas at all. Fairways ran well and greens were quick. Some good holes and nice setting. Recommend it.Reviewer Rating

A wonderful surprise
I have found that having played 100's of courses over 40 years the best way to rate a club is to measure your own experience against your perception before you arrived. On this basis my perception was that SRGC is generally a 7-7.5 but my experience was a definite 8.5/9. The people around the club are exceptional.Reviewer Rating

Great friendly course
Stoke Rochford golf course was in fantastic condition with lovely wide fairways and well kept greens. The rough is now beginning to grow up, which given a couple of weeks could punish wayward shots. Despite Covid19 restrictions the welcome and hospitality were above and beyond. The halfway house being open everyday for hot and cold snacks and refreshments is a nice added bonus.Reviewer Rating

Course in good condition
Given the wet conditions of late, Stoke Rochford was a revelation. The course was in very good condition, with the greens playing at almost summer pace. It was strange to see the ball actually bounce. This strangely made the course harder to play as it was unusual to find a course in such good condition. The course played long, but was very enjoyable. I struggled on the greens but that was down to me, overall it was a pleasure to play and would recommend if your own course is closed, this is a great test of your game and well worth a look. Lovely settings, Hilly course
1st time i've played the course today even though i only live about 5 miles away. Was a lovely course in very good condition. Was a nice testing course & it was a hilly course. Lovely way to spend 4 hours(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 17)
