Open Course with Greens and Fairways in good condition all year round. Watch out for the Goose Poo and Bunkers with cloggy sand however.
10th and 11th catch many people out with water to the left and OOB to the right. High Handicappers might be wise to stay safe and leave the Driver in the bag for these two.

Only played this course once, a very open almost links style course. On the day I played it was Golfshake event day, so as usual the banter was good. It's a bit out the way, locked away in the deepest countryside, over all enjoyed it as I do with all courses I get to play.
The 10th and 11th are certainly card wreckers.

Caterers and catering arrangements at Golf Clubs often change. But to visit a club that now has NO caterers is a new depth. To add insult the sparse bar charges London prices. Check before you visit.

The greens are really disappointing. I have never seen greens in such a state. Some of the bunkers are in a bad way and been left to allow the wildlife to take over

Needs support

It is what it is, needs investment but won’t improve if people don’t support it. Generally in good condition but let down by the greens. Suffered by the weather last year, very dry and mossy now. Most bunker are GUR. Course is open and appealing to all stands as a cheaper round it is acceptable.

Good course

After all the rain we have had the course was not in dad shape. The only problem was if you hit if the faraway the grasse was much to long and some of the bunkers where just mud. Needs a bit more TLC

The course is very forgiving, but very few yardage markers, there were leaves everywhere that hid balls and between 3 of us we lost 11 balls. Clubhouse had nothing in so if you needed balls, tees, food, drinks etc think again coz there are none.

(Round played: Jun 2015 - Score: 101 Handicap: 21.5)
This has the potential to be a lovely course and there are signs that some investment is being made (a number of bunkers have been restored/new sand on the back 9) but overall there is a lot to be said for an empty course on a Sunday afternoon in late June, it should have been much busier...

Course quality can vary wildly, some weeks a farmers field would be a fair description...bunkers consistently awful. It's a shame as there are some interesting holes. Aside from the course there is nothing, no pro shop, no real bar, very small clubhouse....much better course around for the money.

Staff are great especially Roland.
The course could be good but I think the owners are after every penny out of it with no ivestment in. Bunkers are wrecked, tee's are all over the place and no proper catering is availiable. Also the prices are a shocker and the green fees too compared to other local courses. As it stands its a driving range, needs good management and investment as it could be a great course.

Tight Back 9
The front 9 holes are good for confidence - but dont be fooled the back 9 are the testing holes with 3 longs holes with narrow fairways and out of bounds all the way down the right.
Excellent greens for time of year, clubhouse undergoing re-furb so poor score given.
