Customer service is seriously lacking. Many calls last year went unanswered when trying to book a round for a 59th birthday.
Emails unanswered now when trying to get hold of a course map.
Not sure I'll even bother to give them my money for a round.

Ignore the bad reviews. Stockley is historically a great course and while it is a bit of a fallen glory by comparison, it's still one of the best courses around for under £30. The 10th whole is awful though to be fair.

I don't understand all the bad reviews. For £22 atweekends you definitely get value for money (try Brent Valley for the same price...)The fairway are quite decent, and the course drains quite well even after heavy rain. The greens are average, some a bit faster and more challenging, some other slower and flat. The course layout is pleasant, quite forgiving for beginners as there is always a safe option, but better players and big hitters (not me) can dare a bit more, cut across trees, try to get to the green in 1 less and end up in trouble...I don't mind the bunkers, they drain quickly and the sand is quite fluffy, I have no problem with my bunker shots at Stockley.Yes, the 10th hole is terrible. It takes quite some walk to get to it, and its an even longer walk to move to the 11th. The turf is constantly dry and yellowish, too close to the range (a ball landed 2 meters from me while I was teeing-off), it feel cheap, and completely isolated from the rest of the course. Interesting layout though...Overall I quite like playing at Stockley. Their "Privilege Plus" membership is very convenient and good value for money, as you just pay for what you play and a round is only between £10-£17.The club house is ok, a bit basic but good enough for a coffee or a pint after your round.

Nice course, alot of walking between holes and a random start to the back 9, 10th seems out of place for the rest of the course. The course is certainly long enough with a few blind shot's making it difficult without a hole guide. Fairways were good, rough was very thick and easy to lose your ball even if you just run off, green were really disappointing with the amount of pitchmarks and bunkers were very stoney and many have no rake. Only cost £17, which is not a massive amount, but you'll play better for less.

The greens were a bit slow and the bunkers could do with more sand. Great value for money and easy to get to.

A decent course with consistent greens in good condition. A couple of holes are not up to the good standard of the rest of the course.

forget the 10th hole, it's still awful, the rest of the course is in really good condition, quick greens too. Spoke to the pro after my round and he says the 10th hole is getting worked on this year, so fingers crossed it'll be back to it's best soon. Only gripe would be slow play and mysterious groups appearing throughout the round on various holes......should a one ball take 4 hours 40 minutes to get round?????

I have to say I don't get all of the negative comments about Stockley. I've played there a few times and the course had always been in decent condition and the greens the last time I played (December 2011) were excellent. Admittedly the range has eaten into a couple of the holes but by and large the course is still a good layout. In fact, if the area on the right of the 10th were water (instead of a massive slag heap) it would be the signature hole!! In terms of value for money there are few places better so as long as you don't expect Wentworth!

Played today in a society and found the course to be in very good condition. Greens and fairways in great condition, much better than in the previous years now the changes to the course have settled in. Well worth a visit. Ring first and they will almost certainly do you a deal.

A real find!

Stockley Park, close to Heathrow, provides a really good course which would be classified as excellent if the bunkers had been in a fit state. (They were unplayable in most cases.) This is a shame as the greens, fairways and tee boxes were excellent and the course is set in a wonderful varied landscape. There is a cafe/bar and pro-shop but surprisingly, no changing room.

Terrible Greens

I used to like this course because it was decent for the price you pay, but unfortunately the state of the greens has worsened and it's just not enjoyable any more.
