that Stockley Pines Golf Club course is very nice. Very good quality due to price. Is very close me than I will go over there much more times

Much improved course. The greens, tees, fairways and bunkers would put many private courses to shame but the rough is a little bit severe and can add to a long round if the course is busy. The course plays a lot longer than the yardage with the number 1 shot hole a real test. The off course facilities are a little basic and the food a little expensive but otherwise good value for money.

Got invited to play here by a friend and wasn't exactly looking forward to it - or the drive around the M25.
As it happened we teed off at 8am and the traffic was ok.
The other reason I wasnt stoked to play here was the indifferent reviews, particularly of the 10th hole, and there's no getting away from the fact that it (the 10th) is an absolute nonsense - blind tee shot across wasteland, blind second shot over a ceaseless hump, shocking.
But the rest of the day -.and the course in general- were a pleasant surprise.
Greens had been treated three or four weeks earlier apparently, so ran well. Some interesting holes despite the drive in via the neighbouring business park promising a soulless featureless course.
It's not long but that's no bad thing. You have to think your way around much of it.
It also meant the group of Japanese ahead of us weren't too slow.
All in all a decent course (10th apart).
Easily it's best feature though is the price. It cost us £22.each, and the coffees and bacon rolls were cheap - and decent - too.
Was told by staff afterwards that work to completely remedy the problems de the 10th are imminent, so will be interested to see how that shapes up. If the price stays the same, it would make this outstanding value

The majority of the course is very nice, but there are several holes that really let the course down. There are long walks between some holes and it is hilly

The course is in excellent condition and I have played there 4 times in July and August. The developement of the course has gone very well and I too like the last person who reviewed this course saw on my first visit in early June 2009 bunkers without sand etc and ground under repair in many places. This is all as good as sorted now and the course is the best I've played on this year without a doubt and I've played a lot this year (Blue Mountain, Elstree, Stanmore, Bushey Hall, Pine Ridge and at least 15 others). The clubhouse also has excellent facilities for all golfers with showers and changing rooms included in the round price, which is not anywhere else that I've played. The restaurant upstairs caters for all and is open all day aswell so food is no problem. The practice areas are good with 2 putting greens and a driving range and warm up area. If you are serious about your golf, you'll love this course and there are some great offers too associated with another golf site that allows you to play Stockley Park for just £10 per person. Basically it's just fantastic value.

A pay and play golf course maintained to US PGA standards. Good condition greens and 2 for 1s accepted Mon to Thurs so for £12-50 per player it's good value

A real find!
Stockley Park, close to Heathrow, provides a really good course which would be classified as excellent if the bunkers had been in a fit state. (They were unplayable in most cases.) This is a shame as the greens, fairways and tee boxes were excellent and the course is set in a wonderful varied landscape. There is a cafe/bar and pro-shop but surprisingly, no changing room.Reviewer Rating

Great value
