Good course, well maintained and played well... some tricky pin positions. Staff were welcoming and good beer.

decent course
fun layout, quite short and relatively easy. Is bogging down in the wet and they are still allowing carts on the course which is damaging it.Reviewer Rating

Short Course but Tricky
This course is there for the taking if you are straight. It is very short with the Par 5s all easily reachable in two so lots of birdie chances. The Par 4s are all very short too so it can be attacked. Greens in good nick.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 79 Handicap: 9.2)

Tee boxes in terrible condition need to be moved more often especially par 3s

Tough day
Tough course today but it was in good condition, bunkers could use a bt more sand in them otherwise it was ok.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 92 Handicap: 16)

A pleasant surprise
Played in late September 2017 after quite a damp period. Overall the course was in surprisingly good condition and played well considering how wet it was.A hilly course with a variety of design of holes , in length and difficulty. You feel out in the country here !
I expect that the course would play much differently in very dry conditions when the bounce would be a more telling factor.
Overall the golf course represents great value for money and I would recommend a visit.

Our society enjoyed the course, the course was in good condition, greens were receptive and all the holes were different. I would recommend this course to anyone who likes playing golf.

Green still a bit bumpy after the winter and the course very wet in places. Several areas on the course were cut up fro the golf buggies that are allowed to be use in these conditions.

Played on a really cold day and the ground was very muddy but to be fair to Springwater the course was in good condition especially the greens. Lovely course and will play again in spring/summer
