Played this course on the 17th of February 2024. The condition of this course was truly disgraceful. I realise the weather has not been great with lots of rain. But surely when this is the case of the course is dangerous to walk on it is time to close the course. We had three temporary greens on the front 9. One of which turned a par 5 into a 200 yard hole. The green was basically the soggy fairway with a hole in it. Also the mats that we played off seemed to be coated in Teflon. I discussed the state of the course in the club house after to be told he thought it was good value at £27. I write this review in the hope that the people that run this organisation take a long look at what they deemed as good value. If you see below they didn’t seem to have a zero for condition of course. Pity.Craig

Horror experience
Played with my son and we both thought the course was in horrible condition. Shop staff were clearly bored and uninspired. Green staff uncourteous.I left a google review of my experience, the Opps director responded in typical defensive style, claiming I'm targeting his business. Unbelievable.

Struggling to keep up with the demands of the growing season. There is fairway (long grass) and then thick rough. With not much inbetween

Rough very long ,just off the fairway. Difficult to find balls slightly off line.

Played yesterday and the course was very wet . Ive got a gps device and all the yardages on the card and boxes are wrong. The course is probaly only about 5500 yards long which makes it nice and easy.

Boys day out

Tough Climb!
A short course on hilly ground. The length of the course belies the difficulty as many holes are uphill consequently playing longer. Too many 'blind' holes for me but overall a challenging course - especially on a windy day.Reviewer Rating

Course in decent condition for March. Greens recovering following disease, will only get into better condition. Some lovely and challenging par 3's.

Nice challenging course
A nice challenging course. Hilly with lots of blind holes. Good mixture of short and long holes. Due to the previous wet weather parts of the course were very muddy and the conditions were made worse by the continuing use of trolleys. Greens in poor condition but we were made aware of this before we started. A thoroughly enjoyable round of golf and looking forward to playing the course again when conditions are better. Could be a great course
This course could be superb!....It needs some work doing to it. I have played many courses over recent months and unfortunatley this has to be down there as one of the poorerst. Despite its excellent layout and challenging holes the up keep and condition is not good at all. The greens were nothing short of awful! Evey green was very bobbly with some of them having hole size craters in meaning you could never get a goof rolling putt. The fairways on some holes were worn out and not very green and the tee boxes all lumpy meaning you were never really hitting off a flat surface. With some care and attention this course could be really really good!...I have played here before and not seen it this bad. Quite disappointed today. The pace of play was also very poor. Groups in front very slow to play and not allowing us to play through despite meeting them on almost every tee.Reviewer Rating
