Hidden Gem

Dont bother
Course marshal has no respect for golfers. Driving his cart past as your taking your shot even after being told and asked to be quiet then drives in front of a player teeing off. No tee markers on the second hole for either yellows or whites. The rough is so thick and high you have no chance of finding your ball even with four looking slowing play.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 105 Handicap: 23.6)

Great Links Course
Great links course, wide fairways and well kept greens. Some difficult holes well protected by bunkers, water etc. Many hazards to steal your expensive golf balls. No public cafe. Alt/Park golf club do allow visitorsReviewer Rating

Needs tidying up

Very good condition
Fairways dry and the ball was running, considering g the rain and snow we've had recently was a welcome surprise. They greens had been treated so didn't run as true or fast as normal but on the whole it was a very enjoyable round. Would definitely recommend playing hereReviewer Rating

Green fees should be reduced as playing very short. Now it is winter they decide to cut the rough.

Southport municipal
Links course, not long at 5900 yds but a good selection of holes to test golfers of all standards. Smallish target areas with greens in excellent order. Will use all clubs in the bag with a premium on accuracy. Great fun to play.Reviewer Rating

Greens were in fantastic condition. It had rained non stop for 3 days when we played but the course held up well. Some very very long par 4's on the back 9 into a very strong wind made it very challengng. Very tough conditions. Score 100, Handicap 20.

quiet day in great weather, course was not up top its normal standard as played on other days, greens quite nice but a lot of bunkers were GUR and the fairways needed cutting those little white flowers everywhere so spent a lot of time looking for balls on the fairways, slow play, but we will be back to play again......
