greens were poor - never really liked this course - have had issues with tee times in the past (although not yesterday like some - went out at 3pm so must have missed all the crap)

Played the today,fairway,greens in good order,this been a 27 holes course with a 3tee start,it was chaos,it took a 4ball 5hrs maybe this was a bad day

Course was in good condition considering the heavy rain all week. Greens were soft but very playable. Boggy in places around the fairways.
The course lacks something but not sure what. It's a bit flat and open. I will play there again but I certainly wouldn't be a member

We played on a Bank Holiday Sunday, it was windy and raining on and off. The weather before had been sunny and dry. We were getting some very funny bounces from around the greens. Hit the fringe and the ball would go 30 to 40 feet into the air and bounce straight into the deep rough! It was just like landing your golf ball on a path.
One really bad memory, the guy in the pro shop was not very helpful! Tried to charge me to play, I'm a member at another Crown Golf club so get free golf after 2pm at weekends. Then tried to make the other two pay full price even though we had an agreed 2for1 arrangement!

its ok and get you out but this is still very wet. would play again and wuld inform those who want to play the issues.

The course is nice but stay away if your a serious player! The course considering the amount of traffic that it sees is in good condition with exception of the bunkers and some of the tee boxes which are frankly awful. As a single figure handicap the thing that really lets it down is the amount of novices on the course who are horrifically slow and have no knowledge or regard for etiquette. The club house maybe nice but its a shame no one goes in there - for £27 there are much better courses.
