An 18 hole, par 71, private, parkland golf course designed by Herbert Fowler and opened in July 1914. One of the friendliest golf clubs in Surrey and also open to visitors. Located near East Croydon.

22 of us played this course 20/05/2021. We were very well looked after by all the staff. Started with breakfast, 18 holes, 2 course evening meal. Everything was spot on. Course was in great nick, greens superb. All my members very happy. Have already agreed to come again next year. Thank to all at Shirley Park.Reviewer Rating

Played here yesterday 16/6/2020 with 3 of my mates and I must say the whole course was in excellent condition especially the greens and the pro made us feel more than welcome plus he gave us two course planners to help which was a nice touch would definitely visit Shirley Park again fantastic day thanks.

Too hot to play
Great course. Well maintained. Excellent Pro Shop. Friendly Service. Great Food. Reasonable pricing. Would play again definitely.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 22.3)

An excellent course, the 7th a fantastic par 3. Great condition, superb greens and good facilities/bar. Should set up the course to play from chapionship tees more often.

Nice course, within easy reach of East Croydon station, and 20 minutes from the M25. Played in mid November and the course was in very good condition - the greens had been treated (tined) a few weeks previously I imagine, so were a bit bobbly, but generally given the time of year, they were very good. We had a three course dinner that was substantial (lamb shank) and very nice, catering was excellent. Staff were friendly throughout the day.

A very good course with friendly membership. The 7th is a great par 3 but the valley 9th has to be my favourite

Brilliant course. Friendly staff, super helpful. Course is in great condition, really interesting layout and no boring holes at all. Some excellent holes too. I played it 3 days straight - kept coming back for more, which is a good sign as my time is precious. I'll be back too - great course to learn about course management, perfect for any level.
