What the club says: The challenging Championship course was designed in 1932 and has the feel of a long established and challenging course. If you don’t feel quite up to the demands of the 9 hole course or the Championship course, why not try the 18 hole Falconwood course that will test your golfing skills.

Short but interesting let down by greens
Short but interesting course, however greens are in a terrible state, not just maintenance spikes but considerable damage by animals (four or two legged) and in this state definitely not worth the weekend visitor rate

This is the academy course so to speak of the main course but it's very good value for money and a good test of golf all the holes are different and challenging and considering the amount of traffic that it gets as more and more people discover what great value it is it's still in good condition especially the greens but the tee boxes is a bit worn but I can put up with that given what we pay for playing.(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 76 Handicap: 11.4)

Generous course in average conditions
Weather was dry, but course very muddy with difficulty to find grass in some places and greens are starting to be spiked so some decent greens but some poor(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 84 Handicap: 16.5)

OK
Not the best. Course in average condition and is very congested at weekends. Prepare for a 5 hour plus round with golfers jumping across holes !!If I played again it would have to be midweek

Tricky short course
Better shape than last visit, rough cut a little lower. Greens were sanded, and some had patchy spots. Some tee boxes in poor condition.(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 97 Handicap: 26.9)

Fun dusk round
Lashed it down to start so greens damp, however good value and quick to get round before darkness set it.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 95 Handicap: 21.4)

Very good greens

Very very dry. with ordinary greens
The fairways were in a desperate state, the greens were better, but certainly not true or consistent and they are clearly just pouring as many people as they could onto the course. 8 minutes intervals and constant fourballs will never work. Disappointing.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 87 Handicap: 19)

Addington
Standard course quick get around

Only concern is that as a 3 ball someone else was tagged on
(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 86 Handicap: 19.1)

Superb little course.
Falconwood is a relatively short course, but also testing. A great course for players who are starting out in the game. Greens are in good condition too.

Haven't played this course in a number of years but it's a good challenge value for money and was in very good condition considering the amount of traffic that pass through it.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 80 Handicap: 11.8)
