What the club says: Farleigh Golf Club is a 27 hole Course which has recently undergone a £5 million refurbishment of the course and clubhouse. A visit is a must to this downland golf course designed by John Jacobs Associates just half a mile from Selsdon Park (just a couple of minutes' drive away).
The Orange Course (Yellow 9 & Red 9) - This impressive downland layout was designed by former Ryder Cup legend John Jacobs and has been carved through two landscaped valleys. Set in 350 acres of mature Surrey land, this testing course utilises many natural features, USGA standard greens and is surrounded by a bird sanctuary. 18 holes. Par 72. 6395 yards. Parkland.
The Green Course (Blue 9 & Yellow 9) - The Green Course at Farleigh is a very decent and challenging test of golf. Like the Orange course, it incorporates the surrounding natural woodland to produce some very interesting holes. 18 holes. Par 72. 6568 yards. Parkland.

Open parkland
Very open parkland with very few trees and no water hazards on the red and blue 9 holes. I haven't played the yellow nine. Interesting terrain reminiscent of heathland courses but with no heather, gorse nor trees.

Food at farleigh
Food was appalling bad

Wide open, undulating fairways
Farleigh Golf Course has very few memorable holes. The Yellow course was more enjoyable to play. I can't remember any of the holes from the red course. The greens had been hollow tined and sanded, so the were not very true.(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 83 Handicap: 10.2)

Beautiul course

Fairways a bit partched but overall in good nick
Green in Good condition and made slower by damp air and moisture. Tee Boxes wide and expansive. Played Yellow and Red. Not sure about Blue but looked in good condition as well(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: 14.1)

(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 91 Handicap: 16.4)

Magnificent Home
Having not played at my home course for a few months I was very pleased to see the condition of the course given the very dry spell that we have been experiencing in recent weeks and in comparison to other courses near who's fees are far higher(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 81 Handicap: 10.9)

Good lay out, but punishing
Played the red / yellow combo. Greens are in fantastic condition. Rest of course, like most in the current weather, is pretty bare. That means it's running for miles and if you're not careful you'll be in a lot of trouble without trying to hard. Plenty of thick rough to roll out into and loads of ditches. Bunkers are well filled and maintained. Clubhouse is excellent and the staff we encountered were very friendly.

(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 85 Handicap: 12)

Undulating course generous proportions
Course in good condition, undulating with generous fairways and true greens, a lot of dog legs. Plays shorter than yardage(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 91 Handicap: 16.2)

Well maintained generous fairways and greens
Well constructed course, quite undulating In good condition with generous fairways and large and true greens. All ditches were dry though.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 96 Handicap: 16.1)

(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 100 Handicap: 27.4)

Course in great condition
