What the club says: Farleigh Golf Club is a 27 hole Course which has recently undergone a £5 million refurbishment of the course and clubhouse. A visit is a must to this downland golf course designed by John Jacobs Associates just half a mile from Selsdon Park (just a couple of minutes' drive away).
The Orange Course (Yellow 9 & Red 9) - This impressive downland layout was designed by former Ryder Cup legend John Jacobs and has been carved through two landscaped valleys. Set in 350 acres of mature Surrey land, this testing course utilises many natural features, USGA standard greens and is surrounded by a bird sanctuary. 18 holes. Par 72. 6395 yards. Parkland.
The Green Course (Blue 9 & Yellow 9) - The Green Course at Farleigh is a very decent and challenging test of golf. Like the Orange course, it incorporates the surrounding natural woodland to produce some very interesting holes. 18 holes. Par 72. 6568 yards. Parkland.

Great condition
Played a round here at the end of April on a society day and the course was in really good condition. Had really good weather in the build up to it so the course was dry and playing quite short. Played the Green Course (Yellow and Blue combo). Greens were really good, other than some vandalism that had been done to the third hole on the blue course. Overall a really good day and the clubhouse is decent tooReviewer Rating

Going to be good in summer
Tees a bit bare and tired. Mind you played off the reds as these were the only ones in play. Course shorter as a result but at least the Yellow and White tees will be in good nick. Fairways in good nick and greens airiated and full of sand. Greens will be fast and furious in Summer. Played with winter wheels though no evidence to suggest the course was wet. RED 9 was closed!Reviewer Rating

Old Favourite
First of all it was the mildest christmas eve that I can ever remember playing in the UK, the Blue course was in great condition for the time of year both fairways and greens. The fairways on the yellow course was a bit muddy compared to the blue course but the greens were in excellent condition for the time of year running true and reasonalby fast.

The rough is rough but generously back
The course, Purple, is in good condition. Greens not too fast and you can approach them and stay on the green. The rough is rough but the fairways are generous.Reviewer Rating

Course nice and Open. Wide fairways. BUT this is only for the winter. They leave the rough to grow. In the winter you will find your ball In the summer. Not a chanceReviewer Rating

Great for time of year
Considering the recent weather conditions, they have kept the course in very good condition, greens are surprisingly good and the land drains well. The lack of long grass in the rough during the winter makes it much easier to find balls (not that I ever go in the rough you understand!)Reviewer Rating
