What the club says: Farleigh Golf Club is a 27 hole Course which has recently undergone a £5 million refurbishment of the course and clubhouse. A visit is a must to this downland golf course designed by John Jacobs Associates just half a mile from Selsdon Park (just a couple of minutes' drive away).
The Orange Course (Yellow 9 & Red 9) - This impressive downland layout was designed by former Ryder Cup legend John Jacobs and has been carved through two landscaped valleys. Set in 350 acres of mature Surrey land, this testing course utilises many natural features, USGA standard greens and is surrounded by a bird sanctuary. 18 holes. Par 72. 6395 yards. Parkland.
The Green Course (Blue 9 & Yellow 9) - The Green Course at Farleigh is a very decent and challenging test of golf. Like the Orange course, it incorporates the surrounding natural woodland to produce some very interesting holes. 18 holes. Par 72. 6568 yards. Parkland.

Great as usual
Great condition after heavy rain. This is an enjoyable course, the bunkers were nice to play out of in general with a couple requiring a rake through after standing water. Well with the money to play Farleigh.Reviewer Rating

Very good course
Lovely round in the sun in September. Course quiet on a Monday morning. Only downside was that the driving range does not open till 11 on Mondays.Reviewer Rating

Great course
Always enjoy playing at Farleigh as the set up and clubhouse is great and the three nines make for a different course every time you play there. No hot food this time unfortunately, there was a problem with the gas !Reviewer Rating

Brilliant
Well, to be fair, I played with a great bunch of guys, hit a hole in one after 52 years waiting and scored more points than ever in my life before, so what's not to like! But more practically, the course is very open, plenty of space on the fairways, but the rough is mostly long grass, so you don't want to go in there. Not much water, plenty of bunkers to trap the unwary, greens in good condition. Quite a long undulating course. Currently very dry (isn't everywhere?) I suspect it looks much better when everything's green.Reviewer Rating

Well maintained 27 holes
All 27 holes in good condition with greens fast and true but borderline cut too short on a few. Course well maintained but the dryness affecting patches on the fairways. Layout is reasonably generous and dryness affording longer distances. Some of the 150 markers were not true. Kitchen was out due to a dry hire event that was disappointing.Reviewer Rating

In good conditions but sand on the greens
Not a bad ything as stops ball rolling too fast but then again no stopping as hard. Good pin positioning and Tee in good nick as well as farways. Not too dry ....yet!Reviewer Rating

Very Interesting course with testing greens.
As you turn off the main road and wind your way along the long driveway you are thinking that this will be a fun day. This was a golf society day so al ot of the day was organised for us. What you can say the staff were very good in the pro shop and the bar.Onto the course. As previous reviewers have said this is predominantly a downland track, mixed in with more park land holes. This gives a great test of golf which after the first nine I thought I was going to really tame! However playing the second nine on the 'red' course bought me back to reality!
The green were some of the fastest I have played on and you do not want to be left with too many downhill putts! It is quite a well bunkered course so you do need sometimes to be more accurate than powerful with a lot of your shots.
I am told by those that have played the course before that the 'yellow' nine is the best.
Took me well over an hour to get to Farleigh but well worth it. Hope tp play it again in the future
