Really shouldn't have been open
I've played here a couple of times and to be honest I'm struggling to remember any particular holes. It's generally bland. However, our day was really not up to expectation. Torrential rain the night before left the course soaked and very muddy. Was like walking through sticky custard at times around the tees and greens and between holes. The fairways were soaking wet. Standing water on every one of them. Bunkers were either solid or had water in them. And then it poured down again while we were out there. If they need money that badly and are prepared to keep the course open in these conditions they are going to lose lots of customers, especially when it dries out and all they've got left is hard earth.

Best to have a look at another venue.

Society golf is pretty much the market here and would never consider this for membership.
They take societies on a Saturday am.

an unimpressive track
I found this course to be unmemorable and quite uninteresting to play. Wide fairways and featureless holes.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 80 Handicap: 11.5)

I was a bit disappointed because after the pandemic lockdown I had expected the course to be in good shape but it was average they seemed to have spent their time on cutting down trees greens, fairways and bunkers seemed to have had very little work if any done on them.Reviewer Rating

Wide open, undulating fairways
Farleigh Golf Course has very few memorable holes. The Yellow course was more enjoyable to play. I can't remember any of the holes from the red course. The greens had been hollow tined and sanded, so the were not very true.(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 83 Handicap: 10.2)

What’s happened to the greens. I noted a few months ago they have been made smaller and now they have deteriorated into quite average condition. The greens here use to be this courses best asset.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 90 Handicap: 18.7)

Not bad for time of year
Lots of rain recently but course held reasonably well, played in the afternoon and the greens were very bumpy(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 16.3)
