What the club says: Our par 70, 18 hole Golf Course is designed to USPGA specifications by Henry Cotton and Donald Steel. It is both challenging and enjoyable, featuring, as it does, a mix of hazards through parkland and woodland copses.

Because it stands on chalk sub-strata with a constant drainage system, we are able to offer year-round golfing on permanent tees and greens. The Coach House bar is perfectly placed for the 19th hole and offers all-day breakfasts as part of the menu.

Very short and the greens were a struggle from 2ft

Good course for beginners given the length. But the greens were in need of a lot of tlc. Hollow toning and Scarification were definitely needed after the wet winter we had, but by the time I played (12/04/24) nothing had bed in. Ridges everywhere and uneven cut grass across the greens on most holes.

Lovely course

Lovely course, perfect for new starters to the game. Some good challenges for lower handicaps. Lots of trees to contend with on the fairways and solid true greens to test those putts as well.

Interesting

Starts of with a few easy, and short, holes, then gets tough. Front nine is nowhere near as difficult as the back 9.
Really good hotel though, food is excellent if a little short on portion size.

New venue for me. Short parkland course. Because of the short nature of the course accuracy is important. No rough but trees in strategic places..Front 9 flat, back nine hilly. Front nine greens very bumpy making putting a bit of a lottery. Back nine greens had recently been Holly tyned. Again, a bit bumpy with some crowns around the holes. Balls would veer of or even roll back from the edge of the hole. Fairways ok.

Nice layout

A shortish course , but with some characterful holes and slopey greens.
In great condition apart from one bunker one the right of the 12th green where the liner was exposed

Interesting

Good course, lots of short par 4,s to gain some shots on, but still pretty fun to play after the front 5. Greens had just been spiked and sanded so difficult to comment on those but I think it would/could pose a stern test of your putting when playing properly. Good welcome, excellent nd friendly staff.

The greens were not in the best condition. A good course otherwise. Some challenging holes.

Great value course, gets harder and prettier from the 6 hole.
Greens need another couple of weeks.
