Winter round so fairways were long as the ground was too wet to be able cut grass on fair ways.

We sponsored the Pro-Am at the club on October 2nd 2015 and brought a good number of guests with us. The hotel and other facilities were absolutely brilliant, the food was great and the staff couldn't do enough to help. The golf course was also in excellent condition and of course the sun was shining all day long!
The greens were fast and true (and much trickier than they look). The bunkers were in much better condition than they have been before as well; the club are apparently most of all of the way through an upgrade programme.

Played woods, lakes and park!! Woods is amazing quality looking holes, 13 is like Augusta. Would recommended to anyone!!!

A super course with three loops of nine giving you different opportunitites, great clubhouse and nice staff

The Woods was without doubt the best of the 3 loops with the Park coming bottom. Not that there is anything wrong with the parks. Tee to green were in perfect conditions, even with the recent rain, and was great to get onto a course with proper and a decent amount of sand.
All in all a great day and well worth a visit.

Back at my old home course, so my opinion is slightly rose tinted, but I have to say the course was in excellent condition. The only low point was the quality of the bunkers which could have been a lot better! The greens were in really good condition, running very quick and true. Also, they were quite receptive which is good for me as I hit a high ball.
Since I left the club (15 years ago) it has had quite a make over. The club house and facilities are now very good and feel high spec. There is also a hotel on site now which I'm told is a very good quality 3 star.
Overall, I left feeling that everything had been improved for the better. I would definitely come back and would recommend others also give it a go.

Fabulous course in fabulous setting. The greens were difficult which adds to the attraction of the course. The fairways were narrow demanding accurate drives. All round excellent course

I admit to being a bit biased here, this is my old course, the one where I learnt to play and was a member for around 10 years. However, I have not played there for at least a year and the changes to the both the course and the facilities is marked. The course always had and still possesses some of the best greens in the area and the layout is challenging without being unfair. The course itself is in really good condition and with the 27 holes is great for a whole day's golf if your looking for society golf or joining a club.
The bits that I notice being an ex-member is around the club house and new hotel. I didn't have a look inside the new hotel but it looked good from the outside and I've heard good things about the fit and finish. The Club House, I did go in and the bar is now up stairs looking out from an excellent vantage point over a large area of the course, also the changing rooms are nicely done. The pro-shop is not medium sized but normally well stocked. The only things that let this club down overall are the food which isn't as good as the surroundings and that it can be a bit pricey.
Overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to play a good course and would love to take my friends back there with my more normal society golf.

I have played this course a few times in the last few weeks and can thoroughly recommend it. All 3 loops of 9 are enjoyable and challenging, and the course is kept in excellent condition. Clubhouse staff are polite and friendly and the club house looks very nice following a recent upgrade. Will be visiting again soon.
