Hotel, food and facilities were great and pro shop very accommodating. Courses are good, although it’s probably not £40 good. Lots of straight holes (a few too many for me), but hazards, elevation changes and greens make it interesting. I’d say it’s a nice day out for a mid-handicapper if you can get a deal to play all 27.
Course was in good condition overall, however some bunkers, especially on the Lakes course could do with fresh sand.
Parks I quite enjoyed, although it is the easiest of the rounds, it seems to have a nice flow and I found its holes to be the most varied.
Woods is definitely the hardest of the 9s, the woods narrow the fairways and it seems to play longer (although not overly long in the summer), probably due to the elevation changes.
Lakes were probably the biggest disappointment, very straight, and there is only one, maybe 2 holes where the water comes into play. Still Ok but I didn’t like it as much as the other two.
Course marshal wasn’t as diplomatic as he could have been, a couple of my 16 handicappers didn’t really appreciate being told they ‘were pretty rubbish’ after making a couple of bad shots to start the round! Wasn’t really an issue though, everyone else seemed very welcoming!
Would recommend.

Since I left the club (15 years ago) it has had quite a make over. The club house and facilities are now very good and feel high spec. There is also a hotel on site now which I'm told is a very good quality 3 star.
Overall, I left feeling that everything had been improved for the better. I would definitely come back and would recommend others also give it a go.

The Woods was without doubt the best of the 3 loops with the Park coming bottom. Not that there is anything wrong with the parks. Tee to green were in perfect conditions, even with the recent rain, and was great to get onto a course with proper and a decent amount of sand.
All in all a great day and well worth a visit.

The bits that I notice being an ex-member is around the club house and new hotel. I didn't have a look inside the new hotel but it looked good from the outside and I've heard good things about the fit and finish. The Club House, I did go in and the bar is now up stairs looking out from an excellent vantage point over a large area of the course, also the changing rooms are nicely done. The pro-shop is not medium sized but normally well stocked. The only things that let this club down overall are the food which isn't as good as the surroundings and that it can be a bit pricey.
Overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to play a good course and would love to take my friends back there with my more normal society golf.

Poor tee booking and lacking common sense
Despite booking golf break months in advance, we were timetabled for a 5 hour wait after breakfast on day2, because they had timetabled a society for a shotgun start in one of the three nine hole coursesObviously teeing off elsewhere was a solution, but we had to work it out ourselves because of the intransigence of the pro shop booking software

Very impressed ????????
12 of us visited, none of us had heard of this venue, April 26. Thr course’s are presented with care and a real attention to detail, but in particular the woods and the lakes course are “top draw” with the Parks only marginally behind. The staff in the sports bar, the starters, and the breakfast room are totally up on the good service vibe, I can only say a big thank you for the way you looked after us.Reviewer Rating

A hidden gem in Hampshire
First time we've played there, indeed, no-one actually knew of it beforehand.A great course made up of 3 9 hole courses, which were in good condition and included some great challenging holes and plenty of water.
Second day was a a bit busy, but still a good round.
Excellent facilities and hotel/food as well.
Definitely recommended

Excellent hospitality
When first arrived went into pro shop to purchase a new glove, very friendly attentive staff, was asked to try on glove and was checked for correct fitting, that was the first time I have ever experienced this in a pro shop excellent service, then went in to the club house to have coffee and bacon roll , was there with society, again very friendly staff and lovely bacon roll , the coarse was good, fairways were very dry due to the weather so some long drives possible or not !! The greens were in great condition and very playable, back to the club house to be greeted by very friendly and attentive bar staff. Overall a very pleasant experience will definitely be playing again.Reviewer Rating

Great golf break
Overnight stay at the on site hotel and two rounds on the hottest weekend of the year. The hotel is very nice, excellent twin room. The course was in great condition and a real challenge. 3 nines, played all three, the Park twice. The Woods nine is very up and down, a physical challenge.Quite busy with two large society groups, some delays as a result.

Pleasantly surprised
After reading Adam's review a week was a little worried. No need all 3 9s were in pretty good shape. You could see the parks greens had some done and a week makes quite a bit of difference so I sympathise with him on that. There was a wedding on but we had top bar/restaurant all to ourselves. Room's and bathrooms a good size and 3 course dinner and breakfast all tasty. If it was really busy could see service being an issue as only 1 member of staff for food, drinks and clearing up.Reviewer Rating
