Was surprised at the many good reviews, played a 4 ball 30/5/16. Course was a little shabby, does not seem to be looked after. Greens ok, fairly true but slow. Fairways not in best condition, won't be playing again.

Wash out
Heavy rain Friday left a course badly waterlogged. Drainage seems a major issue as most greens had standing water & every bunker was filled to the brim with water.(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 105 Handicap: 21)

Overpriced at £40. Course was in fairly good condition. Poorly managed however as far too many golfers on the course squeezed in leading to 5 hour rounds. Disappointed

Very wet course. Wet fairways. Some wet tees. Greens very good and lots of green keepers out in heavy rain. Despite the conditions it looked very good. However - when we got back to the deserted club house and bar - no cake. No cake! What sort of golf club is this?

Exellent Golf Course
Overall disappointed with the hotel, heating in the room did not work or was not turned for my stay would have expected that to be on in late October. Breakfast served in the hotel dining room was served cold although it was on dish warmers. Showers were not powerful enough. Would have been nice to be able to soak in a bath after round of golf. I would recommend the golf facilities but not a stay in the hotel, this takes nothing away from the staff who are excellent.Reviewer Rating

An interesting course with plenty of hills and water. Greens were fair but not too regular. Staff in clubhouse very pleasant and helpful

Six players all enjoyed the woods. Varied remarks on lakes and first time we have all played parks. Considering the storm on Thursday/Friday greens in good condition. Bit disappointed on bunkers most were hard and not rake , very surprised they were like that on Sunday afternoon. Food was good service by staff excellent. Accommodation good too

(Round played: Jul 2015 - Score: 88 Handicap: 17.3) 1st time playing there I think due to the dry warm weather was just playing really hard I.e hard to stop the ball but it does have a nice lay out
