Bit disappointed that when I booked the tee time I was not told that most of the tees were temporary as they were relaying the majority of them. The rest of the course was OK although it was evident that the course had suffered significantly in the wet weather earlier in year. I am sure if you are playing in June then the course will be superb. That said it was an enjoyable round of golf, greens were in great condition and the welcome on the club house was excellent.

best course in the area by far. The view down the 1st fairway from the tee says it all and the fairway is like a carpet. Very welcoming and friendly members.

Course is usually nice but even though it was dry and has been for a week or so, had to play off mats which I don't like. Club house and shop closed on leaving also so no chance for the 19th. All in all a good course.

It's always good in at Sale. A really friendly club made welcome,by the staff Lovely greens and tees and plenty of variation in the holes despite being the flood plain. There are a few raised tees and greens and plenty of dog legs making you think about your shot. The only critisim is you don't get to use driver as much as you'd like. But great value all the same.

Sale Golf Club, played with golf society from work i found that the course was poor and untidy and in many parts poor condition, bunkers for a private course absolutely appalling especially the18th no sand at all, for the amount they are asking coupled with the condition of the course poor value for money, Altrincham far better for half the price

Greens were wet but in fairness it had rained a lot the previous 3 days. Club only charged £10 fee which was very fair in my opinion. Friendly staff, great facilities would recommend again.
