Played 9 holes on this course today and would have played a full 18 but managed to arrive on the 10th just as a series of matches were starting so decided not to hang around and had a quick drink before leaving.
A really great course though and would definitely return if I'm working in the area. The greens are well kept, the fairways are smart and well cut and this is a truly great course tucked away in the Notts countryside.

considering the time of year this course is in excellent playing condition, some soft spots but nothing unplayable yet, just heavy going in the wind today. A very challenging course that I would recommend it to any standard of player, lots of well placed hazzards and narrow fairways on a lot of the holes, makes you think about club selection
The Pro shop were a pleasant couple of chaps and helped us get our barrings, as did the gounds man out on the course when we could not see the "to next tee sign"...old age and eyesight!!!
The club house was a lovley warm and welcoming haven after the wind swept round. Staff were pleasant and the food we ordered was of a very good standard. Even the member here wanted to chat and find out who we were etc.
All in all the best place I've played locally this year. Many thanks to all, we'll be back many times in the New Year.

Fantastic course with lots of beauty all around, greens and fairways and tees are in superb condition, very clean and tidy surroundings and is the best course in Nottingham for a
Me and I have played all of them, very tight back 9 tests your golf and first 9 as some superb holes, met plenty of folk that left other clubs to join the affordable Ruddington, it's a special place.

Excellent well kept course, great fairways with quick greens. A few thinking holes with hazards in good positions. Highly recommended.

Greens fast and true. £10 for an afternoon round is an absolute bargain. Fairways in great condition. This is probably the best kept course I play in Nottingham (compared to Springwater, Ramsdale, Norwood, Southwell etc). But by far the hardest. Cant wait to play again.

An excellent course with very good facilities. Winter warmer is an absolute bargain. Very helpful pro in the shop and generally very nice and well presented course.

Enjoyable round, it was a bit wet but the greens didn't play like it had been.
Would be a great course in the summer.
Every hole is a different challenge.

We played the course on a dull,wet winters sunday morning not the ideal golfing weather but we was soon warmed up with the condition of the course. The greens were in fantastic condition very true and very quick given the time of year. Having played Wollaton park only 2 days before, the greens there being very bobbly to then play Ruddington and the greens being in excellent condition was a surprise to say the least. Will definitely be playing the course again in the very near future very challenging and different various holes to keep the old mind working.

Played there today with my two sons. The welcome from the pro was spot on.ive played the course quite a few times but ive not played it in as good nick as today.fairways dead lush and the greens almost perfect.i shot 84 playing off 15 .my eldest shot 95 but he dosent play very often.my youngest shot 74 he plays off 5 at bulwell forest.he made the par 5.s look easy.(the swine).will play there again in the near future.
