Lovely

Course generally in great condition. Two of the holes fairways were out of play because of the recent bad weather, holes 15 and 18. Saying that only the 18th was cut into a par 3 but we still played as a par 4

Great time

Loved the visit, breakfast in the club was very good. met some of the members on the practice putting green and they invited me to join them. Perfect start to the day.

Greens in excellent condition, fairways overall for the time of year very good

Some of the rough was a little heavy, but considering the weather in the last few months, understandable

Overall, I had a great time and can't wait to visit again

PLayed in November 2021. Course was playing well, decent condition and enjoyable to play. Decent value for money so worth a visit. One hole was on a temp green and would have been nice to have known this from the pro shop to help with shot routing but generally service was very good. The course also keeps you thinking and lots of tree lined fairways so not a simple hit it and find it course.

Nice parkland course

Played in Nov 2021 on a nice autumn day. Course had just moved to temp tee boxes and some mats but generally pretty good. Greens were a little fluffy but that is too be aspected at the time of year - however, there were in superb condition, extremely flat and rolled very true so a join to putt on so late in the season.

The course is nice and well laid out with a good mix of holes. The fairways are mostly tree lined and thankfully the rough was cut back so a slightly off tee shot was only punished with contending with the trees.

Would definitely recommend and worth a visit. Reasonable value, nice pace and good variety. Hospitality and welcome was good but worth noting that the clubhouse doesn't open until 11am but there is a small halfway hut for takeouts. The 9th was also on a temp green which we weren't made aware of but could be rectified with a note on a board or information from the pro shop.

Bang on course, pity three shut, and three temp greens...??? Some holes were water logged, but at a tenner wasn't a problem, would recommend signs to next holes if some are shut and how much shorter the temp greens are. heard from golfing mates that are members that rudd has had some problems with the course this last 6 months, so the paths close to clubhouse and get some under ground drainage sorted once that's done and the water is going off to new/exiating ponds etc then this course could be best in notts... but when played in summer last year I played disgraceful but what a course. Signature hole the dog left right over water if you have the balls below.

Played 9 holes on this course today and would have played a full 18 but managed to arrive on the 10th just as a series of matches were starting so decided not to hang around and had a quick drink before leaving.
A really great course though and would definitely return if I'm working in the area. The greens are well kept, the fairways are smart and well cut and this is a truly great course tucked away in the Notts countryside.

Picked a bad day to play this course due to the spiking of the greens and my self not stiking the ball very well.
Will come back in mid to late summer to get true picture.

The course is really good. It can be quite unforgiving for those with a slice. Greens in excellent condition despite the previous days heavy rain.
The bunkers could use more sand in them as it was difficult to splash the ball out.
Only real negative was the hold up of following 2 players sharing a bag and a 4 on ball sharing 2 bags
There was also someone practicing chipping on the putting green
