What the club says: An on-going programme of improvements have turned this 6,515-yard Par 72 course into one of the most challenging and best-kept in Nottinghamshire.

The attractive parkland course, which has water hazards in play on eight holes, has also grown into a haven for wildlife - including a pair of resident swans. The fact that all 18 holes provide a different challenge undoubtedly adds to the interest yet the course can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. As each year goes by, the trees grow and the greens develop their own identity, so the degree of difficulty increases noticeably.

Bang on course, pity three shut, and three temp greens...??? Some holes were water logged, but at a tenner wasn't a problem, would recommend signs to next holes if some are shut and how much shorter the temp greens are. heard from golfing mates that are members that rudd has had some problems with the course this last 6 months, so the paths close to clubhouse and get some under ground drainage sorted once that's done and the water is going off to new/exiating ponds etc then this course could be best in notts... but when played in summer last year I played disgraceful but what a course. Signature hole the dog left right over water if you have the balls below.

Golfshake Team Review

Great facilities and nice course. When we played greens were in good nick and course well looked after.

Just about good value for money but worth it if you can get a 2 for 1 or teeofftimes offer. - Aug 24 2011

Lovely course in south Nottingham
Course in fab condition, pace of play very good, pro shop, bar staff and members all very welcoming and engaging. Quite a stern test with tight tree lined fairways in places, and a few ponds and ditches to navigate. Well worth a visit. I will definately return.

Beautiful Course
A lovely course with some memorable holes. Not the easiest back 9, particularly the pair of par 5's to start.

A lovely round - value for money!!!
I have played this course at least half a dozen times now and never had a bad round. The course set up is challenging and fair. It is VERY well presented all year round.

The clubhouse offers a friendly and relaxing way to review/forget about your round.
