What the club says: An on-going programme of improvements have turned this 6,515-yard Par 72 course into one of the most challenging and best-kept in Nottinghamshire.
The attractive parkland course, which has water hazards in play on eight holes, has also grown into a haven for wildlife - including a pair of resident swans. The fact that all 18 holes provide a different challenge undoubtedly adds to the interest yet the course can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. As each year goes by, the trees grow and the greens develop their own identity, so the degree of difficulty increases noticeably.

Greta layout; tough tight golf courseThis course is only 30 years old but the tree growth on this tight driving course makes it a real challenge. There are a few ponds and meandering streams that come in to play on may holes and accuracy off the tee is paramount to score well. While you generally always find a wayward tee shot, getting back into play is not easy and often results in a dropped shot. The course is often soft and damp and even after the long hot summer we have had, the greens were a bit soft underfoot and bumpy as a result. But well worth playing for between £20-25 visitor green fee.

Lovely course in south NottinghamCourse in fab condition, pace of play very good, pro shop, bar staff and members all very welcoming and engaging. Quite a stern test with tight tree lined fairways in places, and a few ponds and ditches to navigate. Well worth a visit. I will definately return.
Beautiful CourseA lovely course with some memorable holes. Not the easiest back 9, particularly the pair of par 5's to start.

A lovely round - value for money!!!I have played this course at least half a dozen times now and never had a bad round. The course set up is challenging and fair. It is VERY well presented all year round.
The clubhouse offers a friendly and relaxing way to review/forget about your round.

decent track in good conditiona couple of temp greens were in play but generally the course was in great condition and played well.
(Round played: Dec 2017 - Score: 79 Handicap: 11.6)
excellent courseA lovely course but too many leaves about at this time of year which spoilt it a bit. I thought more effort could have been made to clear them off the fairways.
Nice CourseFirst time and enjoyed it despite the weather, must say the greens were in good nick considering the time of year

Course worth a visitA slightly blustery day with the course damp. The course played well and was once more offering its own challenges. There was maintenance going on throughout the course including hollow tineing the greens, but this didn't detract at all from the round. Overall for the time of year the course played well, we were picking and placing which helped. Would recommend a visit if you've not been here before.
