Good Day, tee boxes where dry and the front nine greens need a little wrong to them.

It took a while to get to the course but it was worth the drive. A beautiful course in a beautiful area. A course that I will definitely go back to play again as there are a number of blind shots that I completely messed up my direction. The greens are very undulating but ran very true (unlike my putts!!).

The course is in beautiful condition and the surroundings are superb. £18 for a weekend round is exceptional value. Not particularly long, but requires good placement off the tee to score well, but opportunities definitely exist.

a fantastic day from start to finish, the course was above all expectations, loved the layout, location and stunning views. a friendly place with a great clubhouse.

The stand out feature of Rothbury is the views of the surrounding Northumbrian hills and countryside - they are stunning, and especially on a lovely sunny day.
The course is not a long course but has many interesting holes and the new front 9 has been blended with the original back 9 superbly to provide an enjoyable place to play golf.
Lunch on the suntrap verandah taking in those views was almost as enjoyable as the golf, even if we did have to fetch it ourselves from the village due to the clubhouse having no food on the day we visited!
