Rochester and Cobham GC
The course is in excellent condition and is quite testing without being arduous. Not hilly but enough ground variations and whilst there are some trees not enough to make it hard.
The clubhouse is of a very high standard and service was good.

An Old Favourite
I was a member here when I was a junior and actually learned the game while the old course existed. I also played here a lot on the new course as a junior and really enjoyed seeing how the course has matured and settled. It is a fantastic golf course which challenges all aspects of the game. Great track, highly recommended.

A Glorious Hidden Gem - 5 Star Course
This came on my radar after a friend recommended it and having viewed the course on-line and seen the Green Fees compared with competing quality courses across the County felt compelled to give it a go.
I was not disappointed. With a County Card the weekday Green Fee of £50 is a relative bargain for a course of this quality and consistency. I'd describe as a cross between The London Club and Tandridge GC and far better value.
There may be a lack of overall wow factor and perhaps even a lack of standout holes but that's because there a really good holes throughout especially on the back nine.
Interesting green complexes with fast rolling greens, intelligently placed bunkers and run off areas for loose shoots. Even the long grass rough was set back far enough to punish genuinely poor shots rather than just decent shots that rolled across the hard dry fairways.
The ability to make use of proper practise facilities as well gets them more kudos with a separate putting and chipping area as well as a full grass range. You can see why they are able to host Open Regional Qualifying.
RCGC was really hard to fault.

Great course - must visit
Really good course, very well maintained, excellent greens. Some tricky tee shots and tight fairways, fast greens. Reallly need to think about your shots. Excellent course to play

JUST WOW
Everything you expect from a members course, challenging and fun. You get seripusly punished if ypur not on the short stuff definitely take your medicing or play long irons of the tee to get in play and scramble way your way round.
I played with a friend who plays of 5 and his friend joined who plays of 1 they were both helping me round never getting annoyed that i was in the traps or rough etc. All the members we spoke to were friendly and approachable.

Absolutely immaculate course in a beautiful setting. Tees and Greens both in first class condition- the greens are fast and true but devilishly tricky to read in places. It's a real challenge, especially on holes with high rough- stray a foot off the fairway you'll do well to see your ball again. At £40 midweek it's not cheap- but you absolutely get what you pay for- and that's a superb round of golf on a stunningly well kept course that manages to balance a relaxed atmosphere with a high end feel. Top Marks.

Visited with a society. Excellent course. In superb condition. Not too long, but very punishing of anything off line. A couple of strides off the fairway? Take a provisional because the chances are you won't be geting your first ball back. Not sure if it's officially called this, but someone in our group called the deeper rough elephant grass.
Quite a few holes where the flag isn't in sight either because of the dog-leg or because it's truely a blind tee shot over a hill or trees.
Excellent clubhouse and bar.
One gripe, some of the bunkers need a deal more sand in them.
One question - Why have different code numbers for members and visitors changing rooms when it's effectively one big room linked by the showers? Actually, why have different doors?
