Course in very good condistion, staff and players welcoming. Downside it bwas very slow we waited on most tees and it took over 5 hours for 3 of us to play midweek.

A nice course, but the greens were very wet and lumpy due the vast amount of recent rain

Nice course, lots of doglegs and long holes. Greens in terrible condition, seems nobody repairs their pitch marks.

The course was a little dry but the greens remain true and tricky. A fair test with opportunities to score well.

There are two courses, a par 3 which is surprisingly long, but careful of the semi-rough as the grass is very long.
The Ver course is nicely laid out with good looking holes. There are five par 4's over 400 yards, plus a par 5 that's over 600 yards. The semi-rough and rough are not very forgiving with GIRs at a premium. The par 3s look straightforward, but scoring points remain difficult. The River Ver runs through the course and directly impacts a few of the holes and after the rain during winter, the water poses a challenging hazard, particularly the ninth.
The club is popular and playing Friday or weekends does feel slow and very common for rounds to be four and half to five hours. As long as you can get into the slow pace, it is still enjoyable.
The clubhouse has good food and is friendly and there are ample practice facilities, in particular the covered range, The pro shop has recently been refurbished and has a good range of products.

Played course following heavy downpour of rain from previous evening. Greens held up well and as usual the course was a pleasure to play.

The course was in good condition for the competition, the greens were fairly fast and fairly firm. A couple of the greens on the back nine were soft and had a lot of foot marks around the holes. There was also a lot of grass very near some of the greens (it felt like the US Open - chipping a couple of yards out of deep, lush grass). The fairways and tees were acceptable without being manicured. The bar was very good and a hot and tasty meal was provided.

Teaming down with rain on holes 3,4,5,6. Greens were well trimmed and quite quick. Scruffy tee boxes.
