Perfect for a Society Day
We played our inaugural Memorial Day for a former member of our society here, yesterday. 18 of us had bacon or egg rolls & coffee on arrival, played the 9 hole course in the morning, had sandwiches & chips lunch, played the 18 hole course in the afternoon and then rounded the day off with a one course dinner of either salmon & chips or vegetable pastry slice and chips. Both courses were in very good condition with just a couple of dodgy bunkers about. There is a good mix of tricky and straightforward holes and the layout is interesting with some great views. Such a shame we've had a very dry year as the ponds and brooks are for the time being dry dips and ditches but there's not a great deal the club can do about that. A decent driving range, putting green and practice area ensured our day was competitive and all the more enjoyable for it.
The food was very good with the choices limited to one omnivore and one vegetarian choice, as is common for these types of days. The club house has a well stocked shop with a welcoming atmosphere in the bar and dining areas & we were fortunate to have great weather to enjoy the patio area, too.
Every member of the staff we came across was helpful, accommodating and what is more, they all appeared to care about the club and its reputation.
I fully expect we will return again.

Good challenging course
My friend and I have played at Redbourn a number of times over the years but not in the past two years. We played there in October 2018 with another friend and we all had a very enjoyable round. The course is quite physically challenging because of the up and down nature of the terrain, and has a number of very challenging holes, not least the 600 yard 18th! The clubhouse staff are friendly and professional and we enjoyed the food. We will be back.Reviewer Rating

Decent course in wet weather
My friend and I have played at Redbourn many times over the years and have always enjoyed the course. It had rained a lot in the days leading up to our most recent visit, so the course was just about playable and everyone had to use winter wheels. We enjoyed the game and look forward to playing here again, especially when the bar & restaurant has opened (due mid February 2018).(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 118 Handicap: 28.2)

Redbourne Charity Day
Nice course in very good condition, speed of play excellent.Played in a charity day and we were all very well accommodated.
Course has some very nice holes and subtle challenges, course management required on certain holes.
