5 Very poor standard
Course in poor condition, ruts and piles of soil everywhere, greens slow and bobbly ! Seems to be a lack of leadership from management. Worst it’s been in a long time . Other courses in the area far ahead in most aspects ! Extremely disappointing ????

5 Improvement needed
Golf course was in poor condition, considering there has been no golf since early January. Surely the management can see how bad its got! Time to get their heads out the office and sort out the golf course.

5 Simply awful
Worst course I’ve played in years , greens spongy with evidence of disease, fairways full of grass clippings and look dreadful , rough is long and untidy. Grass cut poorly in many areas and overall looks poor considering no golf traffic for a few months .

5 Extremely poor
Greens were super slow, grass clippings everywhere! Some tee boxes looked shot to bits. Driving range was excellent, just a shame the course doesnt match up!

5 Awful club
The worst course I’ve been on , shocking greens with disease present , wet and muddy. Bunkers a disgrace , staff rude and unprofessional.

5 Nice course but too slow
Don't play Wednesday. Out after some sort of members comp. 5 hours plus for the round. Had to walk off after 15, 4 and a bit hours in. Course is good, pretty challenging and greens were excellent, but just way too slow.

5 Played redbourn last week for the first- and last time. Terrible greens, various with a patchwork quilt of new turf laid down, terrible bunkers with green base matting poking out in various places and hardly any sand. Looks like this has been a resonable track, but has been neglected. I hope Redbourn hire some decent greenkeepers and a course manager soon. I believe they are affiliated with Burhill, but unfortunately they bear no resemblance.

5 Played today for the first time in 3 years and I hate to say it but the course has gone really downhill..
The greens were awful. A few under GUR. All waterlogged.I know we had rain but seriously???
Good clubhouse and driving range.
I hope the course turns itself around soon

5 Lolling at your reviews, I wonder if some are fake. I'm a member and the course condition has been less than satisfactory since the head green keeper left a couple of years ago. It's untidy, uncared for, very variable bunkers (bare and stony or loads too much sand). The holes by the river are a disgrace. If you go off the semi, reload immediately and watch out for broken branches. Some members left recently because of course care and many are planning to go unless things improve. Has good practice facilities but let down by poor upkeep. Great shame

5 Greens weren't very green and were patchy. Balls didn't run smoothly and they were rock hard. I'm not sure if the sprinklers work but I'd guess not looking at the state of some of the greens. Tees were in a bad state as well.
Bunkers were a mess, lots of footprints and uneven sand (we did play in the afternoon so I could blame the morning members for that)
Nice big pro shop but i don't choose a golf course for that!
For what you get (ripped off), I thought overall it was poor value for money - especially comparing it some courses I've played recently.

5 i have been a member since january and whilst the facilities are great..(good food, club house, range, chipping and putting greens) the course is far below the rest of the facilities for example uneven tees, bunkers varying from too much sand to almost none (it appears all the bunkers within view of the clubhouse are perfect..the rest less so) members told they cant play due to societies being accepted. poor player etiquette ie pitch marks not repaired bunkers not raked. i'm seriously considering moving after my year is up

5 I have played here a few times as have a friend who is a member, I played yesterday and the greens one week after hollow tining were awful, full of holes with no sand on the greens, putting was impossible. The other issue is slow play, I have never seen such poor etiquette from poor players not letting groups through and making no attempt to speed up.

5 Played this course recently. Some fairways very dry and grass is definately struggling a bit. Greens are challenging with some large slopes/drops in some. Green surface seemed to have a different type of grass growing through them in patches. Long course with killer 608yd 18th flanked by OOB both sides a test to make sure you kept something for the end! Good value afternoon Tee rates.
