Certainly the value is good & fairways are fine & greens are challenging. There are some interesting holes too & the greens could be hard to read. Yet I didn’t enjoy it as much as I’d expected. The course was surprisingly busy for mid week mid afternoon & there were some bullish characters & the place just didn’t seem relaxed or as friendly as many others. We didn’t stay for drinks consequently . That said it deserves another chance at another time

This is my home course. 18 very varied holes. Wooded in places but also some more open parkland holes. Greens are excellent but the bunkers could be a lot better. Every visitor will remember the 12th over the hedge, 13th back over the hedge uphill, and the 18th - lovely hole with approach over the lake.

Los Bandidos Society Golf Day

24 Golfers with a wide range of handicaps had a really great day at Aldwickbury Park. The staff were incredibly warm and hospitable, the food was very good indeed and the course was faultless and immaculate and presented a real challenge. All of our members had a very enjoyable day and we look forward to returning in future years.

14 of played as a society this week (24 May) and considering the winter we have had we thought the course held up really well. We are all members of local clubs so we know how the area has suffered. The course has it's challenges so keeps you on your toes and I have to say we needed our handicaps which normally travel well as we are used to playing much tighter courses. The staff were friendly and helpful and our food was very good. Overall we had a really good day.

Only the 2nd round of golf played this year. Have played here before. Very hilly parkland course. Only 2 flat fairways on the course. Bunker sand wet and compacted. Fairways OK. Inconsistent greens, some smooth, some very bobbly. Lots of hidden borrows.

Great Facility

I am the U14 team manager for the county and we held our training day. The course provided excellent training facilities, including the par 3 course where we spent a whole day training the boys on short-game skills. The staff were amazing and we were served a fabulous Sunday lunch. Look forward to visiting again.

Great course

Lovely course with friendly staff. There was more rope out than we see at our club but they may be on to something as the condition was excellent following all the rain and the greens were really quick!

My favourite Hertfordshire course. 18 very different holes in a parkland setting. Challenging at times especially 12 13 and 14. Bunkers a bit unpredictable. First 9 down the hill along the bottom and then back up to the club house. Second 9 a bit more up and down. A course I keep coming back to.

Golf day

We played the course as a competition with 20 players broken down to 5 4 ball matches. This was after using the 9 hole course as a warm up before lunch, the course was in very good condition and offers ways to play to all ability of golfer. We had lunch and evening meal at the club which was excellent served by first class staff who ensured we had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

I organised a recent golf day for some colleagues and the staff could not have been more helpful. I didn't get the chance to actually attend the golf day but my colleagues who did had an excellent day. The course was excellent, the food brilliant and the staff were all lovely and incredibly helpful and attentive. They would most definitely return again in future.
