Great value, old style venue, with a warm welcome and a decent test of golf no matter what handicap

Exceptional Drainage

Considering the weather we've been having to endure the course is in fairly good condition, All tees and greens open unlike all of the surrounding course that have tee or hole closures.

After such bad weather the QP Course is in good condition

All Greens in use and all Tees bar one in use - very good - probably better than most other local Courses????

Queens Park virgin, wil return

Despite living my first 30 years in Bournemouth I'd never played QP until yesterday. Liked the course loads as did my 13 year old son. Used to playing more links type courses so it was a really nice change.

Good value but down side is the number of dog walkers who, whilst having a right of way, have little or no respect for the golfers. 50% very good the rest disappointing. On the 13th one owner threw their ball onto the fairway right in front of us just as we were about to play our shots. That had an impact on speed of play. Despite all that we will be back to my home town to play again.

Cafe god, staff excellent, shame there are no practice facilities, hence rating.

Open again the green keepers do a wonderful job no trolleys but great value for money

Played here today and left very disappointed.after poor weather recently the fairways on the front 9 were not good and you were very lucky to get a good lie as very muddy..greens were poor and slow and bunkers like concrete with no rakes..the middle back 9 were better and the back 9 as a whole is far nicer to play..ive played here before and course has always been well kept but today it felt a bit neglected..the dog walkers and public strolling the course don\\\\\\\'t help matters and you really need to keep your wits about you that you don\\\\\\\'t hit anyone..people walking from the woods on your back swing isn\\\\\\\'t good!..the cafe has been refurbished and was decent but only had a cup of coffee so cant comment on food but looked reasonably priced..probably only visit again as a last resort,real shame as could be a jewel again with a bit of love and attention

Very average Public course

Nice variety of holes but greens very slow and damaged and bunker sand a nightmare, shallow and hard

Always accomodating

Heavy overnight rain but as always greenkeepers managed to keep the course open.
Considering conditions it played really well worth getting up for on a Sunday am
