What the club says: Parley Golf course is an easy walking nine hole layout with 18 tee positions adding a varied dimension to your game on each nine holes, and requires more course management than is at first apparent. Not unduly long, but to score you had better find the fairways.

Course I'm good shape but game spoilt by very slow play. At one point we had three pairs waiting to tee off on one hole.

Parley golf club
A good course with very good warm up and practice facilities. it has chip and putt to practice wedges, bunker and short chipping practice area with a raised green. also has a good driving range.also nice easy to score course with good layout. good greens and fairways. rough very thick
i scored 92 and am 21 handicap

Visited with low expectations but pleasantly surprised; it's not pretty but perfectly good for a round of golf with decent fairways and Greens. Also good if you like aeroplanes!

Worth a round
Course in good condition but needs to mature in the new layout.rough needs proper definition with first and second cuts as it tends to get very deep very quick. lost a few balls so make sure you have some spares.

lovely course and staff
Lovely community atmosphere just had an investment to improve the course and practice area which is the best in the area. the pay and play is the cheapest in dorset with a range and several grass putting and chipping practice mounds .....(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 99 Handicap: 29)

Interesting course, spoilt by work being done by water company. Don't like having two tee positions per hole, got confusing when trying to tee off with another group trying to tee off at same time (i.e. 1st green shared by 1st tee & 10th tee). Enjoyed the round but can imagine gets very busy as its pay & play. Staff very friendly & helpful, good pint of IPA ☺

Very badly designed course & you need a map to sometimes find the next tee! Quite expensive compared to other local courses and not up to their standards. Probably a great place for beginners to get into the game but not for mid handicap players.

Was very disappointed with this course, some fairways are far too narrow, a lot of shots are played blind into corners and around buildings, not much margin for error, just a poorly designed layout overall.
Although I'm only an amateur myself I was frustrated at the amount of slow play and groups who didn't yield to queues of players behind them.
It was pretty chaotic with players going onto your fairway while you're trying to take a shot, everywhere seemed to be out of bounds with about a metre width of rough to play with.
And to top it off it cost £1.60 for a misely cup of tea!!
Plenty of better courses around for the same price with a lot better service and without the stress of watching hoards of pensioners knocking 20 yard shots along a par 5 fairway for 20 minutes.

the greens on parley are a bit rubbish as they are always being sanded which spoils the performance of the ball rolling into the hole. The fairways are always bare and desperately in need of a good water but judging by the amount of green keepers on the courses, I can see why they are bare. The facilities are ok but the range bays are far too small. I hit my driver against the bay walls standing in the correct position. However the course is very cheap and I can see why.
