Great course well worth a
Unfortunately the course was suffering from the very wet weather we have experienced this year but it was playable unlike some course in our area. The fairways had been cut and the greens were in a reasonable conditions.Reviewer Rating

Good course
Bit wetter than expected and with some tees favourably brought forward but overall in pretty good nick considering the weather. Tougher couse than used to but reflected in the 3 extra shots it gave most of us.We had a voucher for a 4ball, otherwise would have been very expensive at £50.

Good hotel, course needs some work
Lovely layout but it's a long, hilly walk. The greens are quick but need care because they're all tricky. Some (the 15th in particular) have ridiculous slopes on them. The bunkers are poor as are several tee boxes. One is an almost permanent temp tee, even in August!
The hotel is large, but doesn't feel crowded. The food is good. The sports bar is expensive.
There are better resort courses, Belton Woods and Forest of Arden come immediately to mind.

Great Course
Really nice course with some lovely looking holes. Scenery is very nice.Driving range is very small and basic and you can't use woods.

Good for weekend break
Went here for a weekend break and enjoyed it. The course was good, although I think the tees needed work. There are some lovely holes on the course and I think it would be great to play it in summer with the greens in perfect conditions as the slopes on some of them would be interesting. Food was good in the hotel and the sports bar had plenty of room to watch sport.Negatives would be that it is a single course location and there isn't room for a full driving range so that would place it mid level rather than at the top of the places to stay for a golf break.
