Short but testing
Accuracy rather than distance brings better results. Course in good condition, greens excellent.Hospitality very good.

Recovered fully from bad winter 2 seasons ago.
Though staff were telling us that due to height above sea-level, had had frost for 20 days, everything seemed to be in order. Fairways definition a bit hard to find, and longish grass. Greens a touch slow and tee boxes a bit uneven. But that is being a bit picky. Well worth a visit at the moment(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 87 Handicap: 15.2)

Hadn't played here for a while. Greens were in good nick but course was a little muddy in places. No real surprise given the current weather and was nice to get on somewhere as a visitor. Course was quiet so my 2 ball got round in less than 3 hours which was handy. Good value at ?25 via tee off times.

Great turnaround - Greens
Played here after 1st lockdown finished and course, especially greens in a bad state. However, though wet but not soaking. Overall the course had recovered really well from beginning of the year. Looking forward to going back in the Spring.(Round played: Dec 2020 - Score: 85 Handicap: 15.3)

Good Challenge
Course in good condition a couple of greens are a bit poor but still a good challenge.Nice friendly clubhouse

Give it a go for sure!
This is a course worth playing without a doubt. There are a lot of negative reviews about the greens which is fair however, they are making a come back and it's still worth playing especially if you're a 2 putt player! Will be returning!
Course currently suffering from unwatered greens due to problems with supply. However this was explained by the pro shop prior to teeing off and we coped admirably with that challenge clearly in mind. Testing course with lots of undulations and typical downland topography. Very enjoyable particularly the Stroke 1 10th - a cracking set-up. Watch out for the 9th too (aptly named “Hit And Hope”), a downhill par 3 with all sorts of protection with risk and reward if you can hit the left hand back for a roll on birdie chance. No doubt will be returning later in the season and hopefully when the excellent lounge bar is open!(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 20.2)

What a waste - Millionaires golf - Great
Apart from one buggy 8 holes behind us and a couple of singletons after them, no one on the course. In very good condition though the greens fooled both of us as looked faster than they played. Not much sand in the bunkers but top level looked as if very dry and would have expected more. Overall in good condition and great time to play(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 94 Handicap: 15.5)
