Stunning course - expensive as a non-member but worth it. Most of the members are welcoming and the facilities are good.

This is pure Heathland not Parkland as stated. Also the club will take greenfees, just call they are very friendly.
Perhaps the most underrated course near London. Lots of fun shots and due to the master slight of hand by Simpson you will mistifyinigly fail to score as you think you should. Maybe they could widen the odd fairway as the heather is tough here. Go in June for the most amazing display of Rhodoendrons, but steer away as they consume balls. Great gem.

Wow a fantastic course , amazing old world england golf club ... However unless invited you cannot play , cost for round £115 pounds , I played in a corporate day . The course was amazing but very difficult as there is not 2nd cut its either fairway for (HEATHER ) think horrible unplayable heather !!!
Apart from that everything you would expect from a private club - amazing food , hospitality and no crowds, worth joining if you have a few bob.
