Great course for beginners

Great weather, Great course
Played a two ball yesterday on a hot-deal. Arrived at the course to find a full car park and that a charity day had been organised. We checked in and the golf attendant said that we could not tee-off for a couple of hours because the charity event had started. He then said that we could tee off on the tenth which was clear. We enjoyed a good round of golf and only caught up with the last charity four ball on the eighteenth hole. The course looked good with a few alterations being been made since we last played there. The only annoying thing was that the clover had not been cut just off the fairway and we lost a couple of balls because of it.Reviewer Rating

A gorgeous course which is relatively flat bearing in mind its location! Very quiet and set in beautiful surroundings. Excellently maintained.

Course facilties and resources are very good, including a driving range with its own bunker to practice those most favourite of shots.
Practice green nice and flat and smooth.
Fairways are generous, but there are still some risky shot choice to make due to various ditch and water hazards to watch out for.
Only real downer were the greens, they were quite bobbly and rough for a course of this standard and were a real disappointment
Overall enjoyed the experience and would definitely play again at the GolfNow rates

first outing this year, the course looks great and the greens were so fast, a credit to the groundstaff

Breakfast was nice staff was very friendly Very good course greens r good the only trouble there was 1 of the staff coming round telling us to pick up the pace but there was no where to go because the course was very busy

Course was in fantastic condition, quite a few improvements have been carried out since last visit. Will definitely be back for another round.

The course is in very good condition and we always see Grounds People working on the Course. Buggy paths and additional draining is being installed to help with getting around the course in poorer weather.

Round played: Sep 2016 - Score: 91 Handicap: 13.4. Messed up my short game as the greens were superb and l failed to control the roll of the ball.
Missed out on 3 birdies and had 3 lots of 3 putts ! Careless.... but that's Golf !

Excellent course, well maintained and with very good associated facilities. Good mix of long and short holes. Fairways forgiving and well guarded entrances to greens.
