Course playing really well with the fairways and semi nicely cut, encouraging players to stay on the course and play it as it should be, but not punishing when you drift slightly off, with minutes wasted looking for your ball and causing slow play. This is an improvement from the last time I played here.
Some course improvements with the 9th tee and green developments looking promising and looks set to move par to 72 I would guess.
Plenty of maintenance ongoing too with the ground staff very aware of the progress of play.
Unfortunately, we started out behind two slow 4ball groups. The group two ahead were exceptionally slow. The group in front weren't quick enough to push through, even though there were points they could have done. This resulted in a 4'15" round which for a 2ball was very slow. The course marshal was out and spoke to us and the groups in front but it never improved.

Lovely course, my favorite in Derbyshire. Not too punishing off the tee but a challenging course none the less!

I think it was a nice day out, but the greens and rough should be better attended. Overall, I would recommend it to a fair handicap golfer.

Although I didn't get the best scorecard in the world, this was of no fault of the course (I blame the wind). I love playing this course. Greens were amazing and ran true, fairways were also in great shape. If you play remember 2 fore 1 vouchers, for £13 each with a voucher this course really is a bargain.

I have played the odd competitions on this course, they are always well organised, the staff are always very friendly and help full. The course is always in good condition and the facilities are always keep clean. And I highly recommend the food which is always good quality and reasonably priced.

Used to play this course on a weekly basis but due to work relocation not played for 5 years. Course was in excellent condition and improvements made first class. Accepted 2-fore-1voucher which made it very reasonably priced. Shall be making an effort to play here more often.

Excellent Course. If you haven't played before be aware of the stream running across the bottom of the 1st you cant see it from the tee. Also on the 10th there is water around the green that you cant see from the fairway so don't go through the back. Greens are perfect and well kept
