Holes were a bit samey. Dull. Clubhouse, shop and facilities very average. Lots of handwritten notices sellotaped to walls and doors.

for the money , i dont think this course is good value , i would rather pay half the price and play Sinfin or Allestree , maybe this complex has been over-hyped by friends , as i felt a bit let down by the course , , staff and facilities were good/very good , just the course let it down because of bumpy greens mainly.

Played this weekend the greens are very poor and frazzled in places not what you expect from a club with such great facilites.
A real shame played last summer and the course was superb.

Second visit to Morley and it didn't live up to expectations of the first time. The rain made the rough impossible which you cannot blame the course for. Fairways in decent knick though, slow play was the real disappointment. Groups in front had some banter between them but etiquette was shocking for those groups behind.

Nice layout, lots of wide and generous fairways. Very poor greens.

Good Winter Condition
On a two for one ticket this was good value for this time of year. A little soft in places and frozen where the sun hadn't found the ground. But, on the whole very playable.Reviewer Rating

Bunkers need proper sand , even and of sufficient depth that you are not hitting off the clay bedrock, currently the sand is poor builders sand and contain stones bigger than ice cubes, recommend GUR and play from behind bunker, course better when properly trimmed but mostly in good condition
