It was our first visit to your course. The opening hole was a gentle start to the round. We then met the course and although we all enjoyed it the layout (water) caught is out on numerous occasions. Superb despite the rain
Fantastic two night 3 round stay . Staff very helpful and what a fantastic course, challenging with all the water but manageable if you are sensible .Special mention to Scott who made the whole process from first enquiry to booking so simple and was incredibly helpful .
Only comment from the group was could we have jugs of fruit juice on the table at breakfast. For 15 people , 9 golfers and 6 wives to only have that one criticism tells you what a fantastic stay we had.

Great course & friendly clubhouse
Visited Mendip Spring GC on Saturday, 16 May 2026. The course was in great condition and a good challenges for our group, with handicaps ranging from 12 to 21. Usual friendly welcome in the busy clubhouse with a great atmosphere.Reviewer Rating

Winter warmer deal
By chance, we saw the offer of a winter warmer deal. Breakfast and a round of golf on the Brinsea course. When we arrived, we expected 18 temps, but we were told it is open on 18 main greens despite the frost. We had the Brinsea breakfast which did the job before our round.By the time we tee'd off, the course had fully defrosted and it was in a superb condition. Fairways beautifully managed, first and rough cuts presentable, super greens. As expected, winter ted boxes but considering the offer, the recent weather, we felt we had fantastic value for our visit

A beautiful, challenging course and one of my favourites to play. Great clubhouse, excellent food and beer and friendly welcoming staff. I wholly recommend golfers to play the main course and if you don't have time you always play the shorter nine hole which is also excellent. Another great day out!
We played Mendip Spring for the third time in 3 years and it was really enjoyable again. Bacon roll and coffee to start, followed by 18 holes on the Brinsea course, which was in very good condition overall.Reviewer Rating

Love!y course worth a visit
Despite quite a bit of work going on laying new buggy paths, the course was very playable and in great condition. Couldn't use the other facilities in the current pandemic but prior to lockdown the clubhouse, people, drink and food are good and real value for money.Would recommend playing a round on either the main course of the smaller 9 hole which is also great fun and good distances for a smaller layout.

Beautiful much improved course
A great course which is and has undergone significant improvements since I last played here. The course was in great condition, staff very friendly and a full bar area at 8:30pm proved how popular it was. We played a twilight round for £15 which in my view was excellent value and a great way to spend 3.5 hours of pure pleasure.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 118 Handicap: 26.3)

Great little nine hole
Mendip Spring GC has an excellent full size course and the Lakeside which is a superb 9 hole course that is perfect for a quick round. Would definitely recommend it and it is especially good for junior golfers to learn how to play. With 6 par 4?s and 3 par 3?s all of good length, lakes and burns to traverse it is perfect for a good test of your iron play.Reviewer Rating

Great Course
Played this course as part of a small society at the end of June. What a treat, great welcome, bacon roll and coffee, in a lovely clubhouse. The course was fab, lots of challenge, beautiful holes and views from some. Excellent meal to finish. Members very friendly particularly the lady members who took time out to come and chat with us. Some very expensive courses from Weston to Bath and surrounding areas this was without doubt the best value. Will definitely return.Reviewer Rating
