Firs comp of the year, absolutely loved it! Warmed up one and half hours to tee off.

Energy levels ok - Little more time behind the ball - Drove like a Demon:-)

Second time I have played this lovely course. Reasonable winter tee fee of £20 (3 others from Market Harborough Course ) for me as non-member. A lovely course in excellent condition. The only critism was the greens were a little bumpy and need a little sun and care to bring them back to what they should be. Otherwise a beautiful course with plenty of water to make you think. You will enjoy the Castle hole No 17 which I parred. Highly recommended and the fish and chips in the clubhouse was excellent and the wine prices very fair indeed.

This was a fantastic course to play, the only downside was due to the conditions ( very wet ) and the greens had been work on but that was to be expected at this time of year. No complaints what so ever

The course looks easy but is a real challenge, if you are not straight off the tee then you will be punished! great facilities and staff really welcoming. A true golf club, wish I stayed closer as I would join this course.

the course is excellent greens are in great condition best course i have played for a while. it was a shame that we could not get any food before we started at 11am.but the meal afterwards was excellent and with great service.

Tough course water on many holes you need to score on the front nine holes as on the back some 3 shot par 4 holes for the average amateur

excellent golf course, greens were fantastic, considering leaving my own club to try an join there are so many great holes. especially 17 could be a card wrecker.

Well worth a visit - Fabulous Greens

Played a social round as part of a reciprocal agreement with my Home Club, glorious weather for mid-October and what a fabulous course. Played it 35 years ago, so a lot of the course (celebrating it's 150th anniversary), so had matured even more, really nice treelined parkland course not overly long, but some well placed lakes coming into play. The greens were absolutely superb, especially for the time of year. It is clear that this course is well managed with a great greenkeeping team. The clubhouse is great with good service, very welcoming. well worth a visit

A real game of Golf

I would recommend anybody to play this course if they are in the midlands. It is a country park lay out with the Castle as a background,with a well designed layout which is challenging. Just down the road from the Forest of Aren G C. but cost a little less for a days golf. Friendly welcome from the members help make the day.
