Hot and Great
In the hottest day so far it was still an absolute pleasure finally here. Great facilities, very warm and friendly welcome and a top top course with greens to die for. Course was in great condition all round and the greens were as good as you’ll find. Food and drink was also great and very well priced. Lovely course, worth playing

Great course
Played here a few times and never dissapoints. Friendly members on the patio area after too, which is not common place towards societies.Keep up the good work maxstoke????

Fabulous course
Played here for the first time today. Despite very squally weather the course was fabulous. My only gripe is the lack of consistent yardage markers on each hole? Even just 150 and 100 yard markers would be helpful. Otherwise fab!Reviewer Rating

Excellent course in great condition all round. Greens, tee box, fairways all immaculate. Variety of holes good with views of the castle made it a very pleasant experience. Cost very good. Clubhouse very friendly and attentive with a very nice breakfast.

Love this course

Super parkland course
Much better than when i visited 3 weeks ago - the greens are in tip top condition (last time they were heavily sanded) and the few bunkers I found were in lovely condition with lots of really nice fine sand (my kids could have played in them for hours! :-) ). My playing partner was really wowed by the condition ...the fairways were lush too. such a nice evening round! The standout view is the approach to the 17th over water and with the castle behind.....incredible. But my favourite hole is the par 4 6th over water on your approach. A truly wonderful hole. 2 ball completed in 3.5 hours is a bonus!(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 14.6)

Our annual match at Maxstoke found the course in great condition, Only 2 temporary greens, the mild conditions were the warmest we have played here. After golf we had a delicious Christmas dinner ( 3 course) and finished off with prize giving. The staff are wonderful and we will be back for more next year i am sure.
