Loved the course- challenging but very well set out, with beautiful scenary and vistas. Will play again soon.

Great course in fabulous condition. Fast true greens, smooth fairways - if you manage to stay on them.

Really tough course - greens very challenging - majority were quick with multiple levels and slopes. Straight drives were however well rewarded. Really enjoyed it

Very impressed with this course, friendly staff at pro shop, given good advice about the course as not played before. Offered buggy ride up to 1st tee as quite a trek uphill from car park. Course in great condition, fairways lush and greens very good if a little slow. Some of the greens are quite undulating making some putts quite tricky especially if you leave yourself a long putt. As with most corporate courses play was slow, my 2 ball took 4 and a half hours, waiting at most holes, but this was a Friday so we did expect it that way. But don't let that put you off, well worth playing just for the stunning views across the Yorkshire countryside. Some outstanding holes such as the signature hole 14th, risk and reward dog leg, take the green on at your peril! It is a good walk around, quite hilly in parts, felt pretty tired when finishing. Would certainly revisit though.

One of the top Marriott courses Ive played. Course was in top condition headin in2 the start of the season. Greens very fast and ran true. Would recommend any1 playin to get a buggy as a decent walk otherwise.

Played as part of a weekend deal. The staff are excellent and the course is in good order considering the time of year. Demanding but enjoyable.

Excellent course. Play here quite a lot and it never fails to be enjoyable, with lots of variation from hole to hole. Not the longest, so it is possible to score well but can also punish you if wayward. Greens run pretty well even in winter and have lots of contours, making putting more challenging than a lot of other courses.
The 14th is a great signiture hole and the 17th a great risk/reward driving hole. With an elevated tee making the greeen driveable, even tho it says its 320 yds from the yellows. The 9th is also a good hole and can wreck a good front 9!
No winter greens at anytime and the course is generally in good condition. It can be busy at weekends with overnight groups, but does have some great offers on green fees. I booked on their website, paid £10 at 12:12pm and just managed to get 18 holes in. Well worth a round at this course.
