What the club says: Par 71 Championship Course is regarded as one of the best in the region and provides a real challenge for golfers of all handicaps. Set out in 6,300 yards, it is a moorland links which commands stunning views over Baildon and Rombald Moors. Two special features, Greenhouse Hill and Birkin Hill, have irregular contours and accommodate the testing Par 4 10th and Par 3 14th, both of which require accurate shots to well protected greens.

Great course

Great course with excellent practice facilities. The clubhouse was undergoing some renovation but everything still available. Friendly staff. Will play again the next time I'm back in Yorkshire.

In the same conversation as Moortown and Alwodley

This is a superb course. The greens were absolute rapid. The course in fantastic condition. It is visually beautiful and has incredible views down the Aire valley.

We were visitors and were welcomed as if we were members. (I've played here twice now and I have received the same welcome twice)

We stayed behind for a full English and refreshments and both the food and service were immense.

This is a brilliant course. I would pay more than the £40 I paid to play it. I'm local in the area and can honestly say I have no idea why this course is not mentioned more often along side Alwoodley and Moortown. It should be. It is very reasonably priced and the warm welcome is genuine and not in anyway stuffy. A brilliant experience

Outstanding Club

Played this course a few times and both men and woman made to feel very welcome by the members. The course is top quality and the clubhouse food is of a high standard with friendly bar staff. A special mention to Andy and the pro shop team who have been brilliant to the point that we are now looking to become members

Superb greens, spectacular views

Very impressed with how true the greens were, up there with the best I've seen. The course itself isn't particularly long but the bunkers, trees etc are all well positioned to catch you out so you definitely need to think your way round. Definitely not a case of just reaching for the driver off every tee. Also, the tee boxes and greens are all very tightly packed on the back 9 so you've got to be very aware of where other golfers and pick a club that you hit straight! I played as a guest so can't really comment on value for money as only had to pay the usual ?20 that most courses charge. Not sure what the full fees would have been. Also due to COVID didn't use the clubhouse etc but had a nice beer on the veranda afterwards. Have to mention the views though! With it being at the top a hill they're very impressive, hard not to have the camera out on every tee!

Top class course

Have played Bradford GC twice in the past and looking forward to playing it for a third time and was not disappointed. Friendly welcome in clubhouse and pro shop, great breakfast. Good practice facilities. Course in top class condition, green true if a little slow. Some great holes. Fairly easy walk around. Will be returning for sure

Great layout

Fantastic layout and great condition throughout the year. Occasional frustration that some members / visitors don’t repair pitchmarks, especially given all the hard work the grounds staff put in.

Fantastic course

Second time playing TBGC, friendly welcome in shop and clubhouse, great food. Course playing tougher than first visit mainly due to the extended hot weather. Greens a little patchy but still rolled quite well. Some nice looking holes, treelined. Not much rough to lose your ball in but plenty of hazards (tall trees) to block you if wayward. Well worth playing for sure.

Great course, drains very well if it has rained. Upgrades taking place on several holes ready for summer 2017 which will make the course better and that bit extra challenging. If I lived closer to the course I would be a member.

An original Herbert Fowler designed golf course, so you know it's going to be well laid out. Par 71 and always in great condition. Going through a redevelopment plan at the moment to take it back to its Herbert Fowler roots under the guidance of renowned Golf Architect Ken Moodie. Trees are being removed and thinned, some old bunkers re-instated & new ones added at strategic points. Fescue grasses are being actively encouraged, so visually its superb. The tree removal along with extensive investment in the drainage means the course drains very well & the grass quality is excellent, this especially comes across with the greens which are beautifully smooth.

Course loops back to the newly renovated clubhouse after 10 holes before setting out again on the inner loop of 8. A well stocked pro shop and friendly staff all round. Food is great & reasonably priced-what more can ask for. Ive been a member here since 1986 & its never looked better - Would recommend and definitely one of the best in the Leeds / Bradford area
