This course has been on the up since last year, the greens are so much better now. For value for money it's hard to beat!!

I played the course in early October and found the greens to be in excellent condition.
The tee boxes and fairways had improved greatly in the last few months, the new owner is visibly improving the overall quality of this enjoyable course.
I especially enjoyed the holes furthest from the clubhouse, while parring the picturesque final hole improved things. The food, staff and facilities are spot on.

Since the new owner has taken over the club (previously Lords) the club house has been improved, bar menu is excellent, reasonably priced and well presented. The courses have improved in the last 6months beyond recognition,greens are excellent,fairways good and rough not too punishing, a most enjoyable round of golf, very helpful and pleasant and polite staff, you will do well to find a better all round club in Essex.

The course is tricky par 67. Course knowledge is preferable. Amenities are growing with a range, practise areas and the atmosphere is very good. Watch out for the society when HEART SX hosting their evenings as it can be very busy but its worth the sights......

Lovely course, but playing in Autumn expect a lot of leaves on the floor and a lot of ball hunting.

This course is short but very testing. Some very nice holes and blind greens make it a good course. Perfect if you only have a few hours.
Fairways and greens were in good condition and the £6 price tag was brilliant.
Could do with some 150 yard markers and 100 yard ones.
