The greens and fairway are in excellent shape, however the second cut is difficult to play as its quite bare in places, there is also a major patch of bare ground just in front of the 17th because of damage caused by the swans I think

Tricky course with tight fairways, lots of hazards and undulating greens. Course is in good condition although some parts of fairways and around some greens are a bit thin on grass and bunkers could do with a refill ( lots of large stones in some).

Course is in excellent condition given the winter its had, green were running very well and the fairways were nice a dry. Great layout and variety of holes and a pleasure to play, quite open so could be exposed to the elements.

Accuracy is the key round this tough course. It's called the Lakes for a reason.

good round,only one thing spoilt it,grass cutters gave no consideration to people taking shots,ie noise,coming into shot when obvious play in progress!!!!!

Great value at £10 would recommend taking some extra balls lots of water and thick rough to contend with on some narrow fairways!

A choice of two lovely courses from April and one in Winter. The Lakes course is picturesque but take plenty balls as errors will mean the water will swallow them up. Dawson is fairly flat with not top many bunkers. The only distractions are the wildlife and scenery

a nice place to play always on summer greens with two courses to choose from in season one over winter,an abundance of water hazards at this course, either course is a pleasure.
