I have played the lakes and Dawson course over the last week. Both had good greens and the lakes is the shorter of the two but you need to be accurate. The 17th on the lakes is one of the most challenging holes on the course. The Dawson is longer and for that reason the harder of the two courses.

The course is in excellent condition, both the Lakes and Dawson course are challenging but not too much, the would spoil your enjoyment of the game and the beautiful layout of the club.

Just renewed my membership. These courses deserve the reviews received. Greens and fairways are magnificent. Looking forward to my 3rd year as a member. For September there can't be a better track in the area.

Haven't played the Dawson Course for a while, but it is an excellent course, lots of water hazards (although not as many as the Lakes Course) and some genuinely tough holes. The course was in superb condition, particularly the fairways, and is well worth a visit. Also try the Old Course, which is a great track.

Very nice course. Would advise to buy the yardage book so you can feel your way around the course. Some of the greens can't be seen from the tee box so need to know where to place your shots and where the hazards are. If your not straight off the tee you can end up in great trouble. Greens are fast and well looked after. Felt like I was playing a course you watch on the TV. Will defiantly be back and look forward to challenging my last score.
