Llanymynech Golf Club, Shropshire is an 18 hole, par 70 (6036 yard), private, parkland golf course established in 1933. Home of Ian Woosnam, Llanymynech Golf Club is World Famous for playing two different countries on 1 hole! Yes that's right on our famous 4th hole you tee it up in Wales and putt out in England and only measuring 340 yards off the back tees this par 4 is not as easy as it seems...

This i easily the best coures amazing in the area the greens are amazing as is the course the members are very firendly and welcomimg its a must play

Played on 27th of June . Just has we teed off it started to tip it down and did not stop all round . But we thoroughly enjoyed this course , all holes different and greens in good condition . Views even through the gloom were fantastic . The guys in the shop and the members we spoke to were very friendly and made us feel relaxed and welcome . will be back to play this beautiful course on a sunny clear day .

An absolute belter! One of my favourite courses. Variety all the way round, some magnificent holes and possibly the best views from any course I have played. There is no where else like Llanymynech and it has some lovely features all the way around it. If you haven't played it before then make sure you do, such a nice place to play golf.

Played in Open in May 2013 - on arrival the course pro told us te club had a problem with greens we expected the worst ..... The greens were great, there standards must be really high !!
The golf course is 1st class , everyone associated with the golf club was first class cant reccomend this golf course highly enough !! What i will say is it aint for the faint hearted !!! The wind can get up really strong - if you walk off with a good score , youve earned it !!!!

this is a great course, its a bit hilly but that shouldn't put you off, some great views and i would reccomend to anyone

best course we played all week golfing in wales, greens were in excellent condition and green staff and pro were very helpfull

Great interesting and challenging golf course.Greens are excellent, staff friendly,food and drink very good.Clubhouse needs an upgrade but for great golf with views and scenery to die for then Llanymynech is for you. Superb value for money.

Great Location
Llanymynech is a gem of a course situated up on the hills bordering England & Wales. In fact on one hole you tee off in Wales and putt out in England. The views are stunning. The course itself is also very good with every hole having something different about it. And to top it off, everyone is very friendly. Thoroughly recommend it.Reviewer Rating

Visited with 3 friends 24 June 2022. Course was in very good condition. Fairways and tees were excellent. Greens were true but not overly quick. Bunkers, I found 2, were very good with the right amount, and type of sand, in them. Clubhouse was very friendly and there was a good choice at thd bar.
Definitely one that we will revisit.

It is a glorious location. Lovely friendly club house and pro shop. Course was in in very good condition. However the greens had been sanded and the pro very kindly said, without prompting, that he would give us a half price voucher. And the views are stunning.
