Home of Ian Woosnam, Llanymynech Golf Club is World Famous for playing two different countries on 1 hole! Yes that's right on our famous 4th hole you tee it up in Wales and putt out in England and only measuring 340 yards off the back tees this par 4 is not as easy as it seems...

Accuracy is key
Very interesting challenging and unique course that is situated in Wales but has three holes across the border in England. We played the course in terrible weather conditions - howling wind and driving rain. It it still brought a smile to my face. Not overly long but accuracy off the tee is key to getting round this track anywhere close to your handicap - the greens were fast and true and three putts are easy if you're not careful. Would advise taking a buggy if your not "fit" as it is hilly however - you are rewarded with some stunning views from many of the holes at the highest points.A good, friendly clubhouse is very welcoming at the end of the day.
Great value for money and look forward to going back one day.

Great test of golf in a great location
A fantastic course in great condition, with some really testing holes where you need your A game when driving or your in trouble! Overall quality day and would defiantly recommend this course.Reviewer Rating

20 years since my last visit with Hinckley GC, so scanning Golf Empire the spring open AM/AM popped up and @ £15 to enter it was a no brainer.
A warm welcome by this year's captain at sign in and good facilities withg practice bay and practice net available (bring your own balls :-) along with putting green etc.
Course: heavy rain through the week softened up course and made it 100% enjoyable and the greens putted lovely, a real credit to the green staff. boy is this a tough track, but value for money keeping the ball in play! not for the wayward, unless you have unlimited balls.
Bar staff really friendly and excellent food to boot, 100% back soon as it's a real GEM.
Worth the 1hr 30 min drive from Coventry
(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 76 Handicap:8.5) should be better!!

This course is astounding - terrific views in all directions and nary a boring hole. Ups and downs and dog legs mean you're thinking properly about every shot.
Hats off to the green keepers - the course was in excellent condition despite the recent dry weather.

One of the best courses I've played in excellent condition, very tight from some tees and a few blind shots, friendly staff, a few hills but does feel like it will be playing again

For my money, one of the best courses in the land and my personal favourite. Fantastic collection of holes with a great variety across an undulating course. Greens were phenomenal as was the rest of the course. Members, Pro and all staff very welcoming and the food was good too. Cannot rate highly enough - pay it a visit you won't be disappointed

Great Course, never played before as was more than pleasantly surprised. Each hole had something to cater for all tastes.

Played on 27th of June . Just has we teed off it started to tip it down and did not stop all round . But we thoroughly enjoyed this course , all holes different and greens in good condition . Views even through the gloom were fantastic . The guys in the shop and the members we spoke to were very friendly and made us feel relaxed and welcome . will be back to play this beautiful course on a sunny clear day .

An absolute belter! One of my favourite courses. Variety all the way round, some magnificent holes and possibly the best views from any course I have played. There is no where else like Llanymynech and it has some lovely features all the way around it. If you haven't played it before then make sure you do, such a nice place to play golf.

Played in Open in May 2013 - on arrival the course pro told us te club had a problem with greens we expected the worst ..... The greens were great, there standards must be really high !!
The golf course is 1st class , everyone associated with the golf club was first class cant reccomend this golf course highly enough !! What i will say is it aint for the faint hearted !!! The wind can get up really strong - if you walk off with a good score , youve earned it !!!!
