great course
Wonderful links in an unexpected location. Every hole has a good level of interest and the greens and bunkers are excellent. We played on a warm sunny day with no wind but I bet it shows its teeth when the wind is blowing. Play off the whites if you can.....every hole is better and more interesting. Its not a long course but the design means you have to think your way round. No duff holes and you have to keep it on the fairway, if you find the rough or bunkers its at least a shot penalty. We will definitly be back. The ladies in the clubhouse were very friendly but I think the bloke in the pro shop needs a lesson in customer service. For £65 a round I'd expect at least a hello and some basic level of conversation, he looked like he didn't want to be there and showed no interest in welcoming us. I understand we all have our off days but if you choose to be a head pro I'm afraid you have to deal with the general public. The other small niggle was some of the fairways were a bit rough. I hit a few down the middle and found my ball on plenty of uneven turf.Reviewer Rating

Stunning Course with breathtaking views
The beautiful gem of a links on the West Sussex coast is truly a test of your golfing ability. without the wind it can seem to play easy, as long as you are straight. The rough is up and if you are lucky enough to find your ball, well, you've seen them try and muscle a ball 100 yards on TV! The greens roll very well and the clubhouse welcome and offerings are superb.Genuinely a great course, welcoming club and enjoyable hospitality.

Great links challenge!
Played off the white tees with two members with the wind playing its usual tricks throughout the game. Very enjoyable as always with greens particularly in good nick. Friendly club with great beer selection available. I always look forward to playing Liitlehampton as it changes significantly as one would expect with links play.Reviewer Rating

Nice course
The day was bright but very cold. We knew when we got there that the greens were frozen and some greens would be temporaries. We started the round expecting the greens would be opened as the round progressed. Alas that did not happen. In fairness the temporary greens were the best I've ever played and as a consequence it did not detract from a great days golf.Reviewer Rating
