Unfriendly and unprofessional
We had booked online £25 each for a round. We go into the club shop, the guy behind the counter has absolutely no interest in us. He carries on working. He then shouts over, only 11 holes open and you can’t play on the fairways, give me a tenner each. Let me get something straight. Leasowe you should have contacted us and told us the situation. That way we wouldn’t have travelled in the first place. Unprofessional to say the least. Also you keep sending me emails with regards to your so called amazing winter membership offer. Are yous having a laugh? Your simply enticing people into a winter membership knowing fine well they will never get a decent round of golf. Shame on you leasoweReviewer Rating

Great Course even when wet conditions around
WE had a great 4 ball here. the pace of play was good and the greens were very well kept. We chose Leasowe as it is always in good condition even if there is rain in the area. I can thoroughly recommend that you play here. The welcome in the clubhouse is always great also!!Reviewer Rating

Windy!
Fantastic links course in great condition. Fresh breeze the forecast said.... it was at leat 30mph, we were hitting 8 irons in from 100 yds. It made for a terrific test and a real links challenge(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 83 Handicap: 10.2)

Stormy weather, Greens were a pleasure.
Unfortunately due to Covid 19 the food and practise facilities were not available, however the course was in great condition, greens were excellent and the welcome from Andrew was brilliant.Reviewer Rating

Great Condition / Good Course & Value
Played here before and didn't really remember it being this good. Was in excellent condition despite the recent heatwave and overnight heavy rain. Greens in particular were excellent. It is a little untidy in places but I guess resource during Covid is to blame. Signage could be better between holes, maybe a picture on the tee of the hole shape / green location.I was also thinking that the last few holes are pretty flat and uneventful. If you made the 5th the opening hole with that elevated tee and excellent views and the 1/2/3/4 became the run in of 15/16/17/18 then you are saving the most interesting holes until last so walkaway remembering the great starting tee and the final 4 holes. All it would need is a path up to the tee box and it would still finish by the clubhouse with a view of the 18th. That would elevate it from a decent course to a really good one in my opinion.

Pro shop
Course is great even though we have had poor weather, greens are excellent for time of year. My main issue is with pro shop.I arrived at the course believing our tee time was 30 minutes earlier then it was so I thought I would have some breakfast upstairs in the clubhouse but I had already gotten my clubs out the car ready to play, next to the club shop (6ft away from its door) is a lockable trolley storage station. I asked if I could use this only to be told no and that I could leave my clubs outside on the pavement, given I've got an expensive golf kit this is a ridiculous suggestion because the clubs are not remotely in line of sight from the food area.
So instead I chose to go in the practice cages but they were taped up and in a state of disrepair (for me every club should have these facilities at a minimum to warm up and they are next to nothing to construct), this meant I was instead on the putting green for 45 minutes.
After the round we decided to have a coffee and some food so again asked if we could store our clubs in the CLUB STORAGE AREA only to be told we would have to pay a fee to do so, this for me is a disgrace given we are visiting patrons and smacks of either snobishness towards non members or just poor management given I'd have spent £20+ on food/drink but have left and taken my business elsewhere.
