Unfriendly and unprofessional
We had booked online £25 each for a round. We go into the club shop, the guy behind the counter has absolutely no interest in us. He carries on working. He then shouts over, only 11 holes open and you can’t play on the fairways, give me a tenner each. Let me get something straight. Leasowe you should have contacted us and told us the situation. That way we wouldn’t have travelled in the first place. Unprofessional to say the least. Also you keep sending me emails with regards to your so called amazing winter membership offer. Are yous having a laugh? Your simply enticing people into a winter membership knowing fine well they will never get a decent round of golf. Shame on you leasoweReviewer Rating

Great value
A solid golf course. There are quite a few interesting features such as castle walls that add to the experience. The 4th (Seawall) is a great hole playing back to the castle. The greens are excellent. They don’t have a lot of break so take this into account when putting. Back 9 seems a bit easier. Great value for £30. Friendly welcome from the pro shop.Reviewer Rating

Winter golf spot on for the price
I wasn’t expecting much with all the rain we have had locally and my course being closed for the last 21days. However, I walked of Leasowe without an ounce of dirty on my pants. The greens where excellent the fairways where clean and dry. This place is definitely a course on the up. Also for reference the prices have changed I paid £25 on Saturday at 12noon. After the round we went upstairs to eat and the franchised the catering and bar out to a local gem called “The Green Hut” craft ale behind the bar and fish & chips ???????? Boss day!!Reviewer Rating

Links in the howling wind
I wouldn't have had it any other way. Links is a different ball game altogether and I knew I would have to change my approach if I was to enjoy this round. I think I only used my driver twice, choosing to use irons off the tee is not my style, but it certainly helped. The course has some interesting challenges, be reckless on a links course and you will be frowning by the ninth. The course is nicely laid out, although the 10th caught me out and I ended up playing the 17th before going back to the tee. Greens were awesome, green-keepers do a great job and it was an enjoyable round.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 94 Handicap: 21.1)

Amazing Course and very Friendly. Awful Changing Rooms
What a truly fantastic course. First nine holes as good as neighbour Wallasey and paid 1/4 of the price. Back 9 certainly don't disappoint either. Greens were superb and a good balance between true links holes, parkland and even nice water hazards. This is one of the best courses I have played and by far the best value. Amazing views from club house of sea, liverpool and beyond. Only negative is a course of this standard needs better changing facilities. Toilet and shower great but locker room needs complete re - fit. Andy the Pro was very friendly. 3rd best course on Golf Coastbehind the Royal and Wallasey. Played Bromborough, Caldy and Heswall recently and Leasowe is much better.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 80 Handicap: 7)

the first four or five holes are excellent but after that the course gets a little boring.
there is one hole in particular where you have to hit over a quad bike centre on your tee shot. its very dangerous and I'm surprised no one has been injured. its only a matter of time and something the club must address immediately.
