Needs a lot of work
Played the course in late April during a spell of good weather. Course was bone dry. Tee areas are in a bit of a mess, large mats have been removed and areas look really scruffy. The greens are in very poor condition, dry mostly and with large dead or dying patches. The greens used to be good but now need a great deal of work is needed. £13.70 for 9 holes, not worth it im my opinion. I won't be returning.Reviewer Rating

Brilliant Condition
Great course, amazed what good condition it is in considering recent weather and footfall.Greens well cared for and played well.

Playable after HEAVY rain
Played here for the first time as Arrowe Park was closed following very heavy rain. Course was quite dry considering the previous weather - no puddles anywhere and all summer greens were open. Very enjoyable and we?ll be back.Reviewer Rating

Good little 9 hole links course. Tee boxes really need some work and let this place down though. Tee boxes are in a sorry state and you struggle to get a nice lie with flat feet, the winter mats on offer are also very worn and needed replacing a long time ago! Some reviewers have said the rough is long, it’s a links course it’s what’s expected. Negatives aside this course is a very good municipal course and was a great introduction to links golf and difficult lies for my 7 year old. All at a very reasonable price too. Will be back but would really like to see some work on the tees!

good course for beginners or those who simply just want to enjoy a round with friends for a good value for money price. lovely weather in the summer can have challenging conditions in the winter with being on the coast of the Irish Sea

Tricky 9 holer
Great links course which is near new Brighton beach so you get the wind in different directions. Some short & long par 4s with lots of bunkers about, a tricky par 3 and a long par 5 with OB up the right. Rough long at the moment which is a pain as you can lose balls easily. Something different and a nice little challenge for 9 holes.Always in decent condition with being by the sea.
