Playable after HEAVY rain
Played here for the first time as Arrowe Park was closed following very heavy rain. Course was quite dry considering the previous weather - no puddles anywhere and all summer greens were open. Very enjoyable and we?ll be back.Reviewer Rating

Good little 9 hole links course. Tee boxes really need some work and let this place down though. Tee boxes are in a sorry state and you struggle to get a nice lie with flat feet, the winter mats on offer are also very worn and needed replacing a long time ago! Some reviewers have said the rough is long, it’s a links course it’s what’s expected. Negatives aside this course is a very good municipal course and was a great introduction to links golf and difficult lies for my 7 year old. All at a very reasonable price too. Will be back but would really like to see some work on the tees!

good course for beginners or those who simply just want to enjoy a round with friends for a good value for money price. lovely weather in the summer can have challenging conditions in the winter with being on the coast of the Irish Sea

Tricky 9 holer
Great links course which is near new Brighton beach so you get the wind in different directions. Some short & long par 4s with lots of bunkers about, a tricky par 3 and a long par 5 with OB up the right. Rough long at the moment which is a pain as you can lose balls easily. Holding up well
Very dry fairways this time of year. Greens true and watered well so very plush grass.Testing few holes and plenty of bunkers.

Decent 9 holes
Always handy playing here if you can only fit 9 in. Good test and in good nick.Just re-open due to the virus, with social distancing measures and the Online booking system to work well.

pitty the roughs are in a poor condition and the green are not maintained on a regular and stringent basis last cut early friday ? hot day seed heads on all the greens sward ? growing like mad made green slow

Always a challenge
The Warren is legendary when it comes to golf on the Wirral. Feared by some for it's diversity and unorthodox layout, but always a challenge. The course is generally playable all year round.Reviewer Rating
