What the club says: An 18 hole links course built on well draining sand stretching along the north coast of the Wirral peninsula.

Tight fairways with intimidating out of bounds are a feature of the course; this coupled with the greens rated among the best in the area, makes Leasowe a good test of golf for players of all abilities without being too physically demanding.

Amazing Course and very Friendly. Awful Changing Rooms

What a truly fantastic course. First nine holes as good as neighbour Wallasey and paid 1/4 of the price. Back 9 certainly don't disappoint either. Greens were superb and a good balance between true links holes, parkland and even nice water hazards. This is one of the best courses I have played and by far the best value. Amazing views from club house of sea, liverpool and beyond. Only negative is a course of this standard needs better changing facilities. Toilet and shower great but locker room needs complete re - fit. Andy the Pro was very friendly. 3rd best course on Golf Coastbehind the Royal and Wallasey. Played Bromborough, Caldy and Heswall recently and Leasowe is much better.

Links in the howling wind
I wouldn't have had it any other way. Links is a different ball game altogether and I knew I would have to change my approach if I was to enjoy this round. I think I only used my driver twice, choosing to use irons off the tee is not my style, but it certainly helped. The course has some interesting challenges, be reckless on a links course and you will be frowning by the ninth. The course is nicely laid out, although the 10th caught me out and I ended up playing the 17th before going back to the tee. Greens were awesome, green-keepers do a great job and it was an enjoyable round.

Course with problems
a good late afternoon golf on yet another hot day, the course seems to have irrigation issue at the worste possible time with the course staff trying the hardest to resolve.
hope the course can recover quickly unusuable long dry hot period does not helpn
Some directionalsignage would not go a miss, a little confusing for a visitor were the 10 an 17th cross over and location of some other tees not clearly marked, but saying that the club was very accomadating

Very good test of golf when the wind blows, even though some short holes the longer ones certainly make up for it.

A good challenge of golf especially when the wind gets up.

Few short holes you need to take advantage of.

Great course well worth a visit
Very friendly pro , course is in excellent condition. Greens are also in good condition. Front 9 is a challenge with the back 9 your best chance to make some birdies.

Low lying links style, nice easy walk. Good condition. Particularly impressed with riveted bunkers.
Only minuses, its very easy, couple of open ditches, its cheap by liverpool standards but thats not saying a lot..

Hidden Gem Of Merseyside
This is a great quite unknown golf course. Greens needed cutting and bunkers need work but apart from this there are some truly stunning holes and views of liverpool bay and snowdonia.
Lovely clubhouse with great food and friendly staff. Changing rooms a little shabby but showers were excellent.
Will def be back very soon. Friendly member called James gave us great tips and was very welcoming.

Course plays well all year round. We have played it now for last 3yrs and have enjoyed the experience until are last visit 31.3.17.

Good service from the pro who is always helpfully. (did give the society a free 8 ball voucher for the poor catering and also apologised for catering and reassured us it won't happen again when we return).

Food is very poor. We were served under cooked bacon for start of the day and the chef didn't start till 9:20 considering that we told them we would arrive at 9am for the breakfast.
Food after the golf was bristly and cold (chips, veg with beef and mushroom pie). Chef had food ready at 3pm even though the first tee was 10:30 and only 4 of the 24 golfers were finished. When told waitress food was cold. She offered me a new one and when I refused she asked me why I didn't want a new one or anything else . She then became defensive with me because I because I replied to her that the food was disgusting and I didn't want anything else (by the way wasn't rude to her). She then complained about me to the members of the club behind my back not realising a member of a society could hear her (Not professional).

This is quite possibly the best value for money golf club in the North West. Played here for the first time 2 years ago in middle of summer. Greens were superb weather was spot on and the food afterwards was top notch. I stopped off at the office before I left, got a membership form and I've been a member since. Highly recommend a visit this summer!
