No Signage

The course itself and club facilities where great - my big gripe was the awful lack of signage for guests whom don't know their way around the course. The walk to the Badminton course is a good 10 minutes from the club house and the lack of signage made our walk 20 minutes.
this was the same for then finding the start of the the Hollows course. And a course guide would also of been helpful but again they didn't have one. For a club that seems to encourage societies it really lets itself down in helping people who are not playing with members.

Played today (25/6/13) warm sunny weather. Fairways and greens very high standard. Two signature holes over water. Only complaint on some holes it is not easy to see fairway from tee so unclear as to best approach. Will play again.

MR

Best course in Bristol by far, I've played almost every course in Bristol and the only one that comes close is the Players. In summer its outstanding, the drainage needs work in the winter

Great course, Greens Superb, easy to find, fairways some tight some wide so a good mix. Overall a very enjoyable course to play,19th hole sat on the patio overlooking the 18th great place to be with a sandwhich and pint. in my humble opinion this course is in the top 5 in Bristol.

Excellent Golf Facility

I played the Hollows-Ruffet combination which was the original main course.

Modern US-style course with water in play on several holes, surrounded by wooden sleepers.... think 17th @ Sawgrass! Fun course to play & great condition. Good finishing hole with a severely undulating green in front of the clubhouse to concentrate the mind!

On arrival staff were friendly and I was received well. Bacon bap to start was very good. On the whole the course was laid out and tended well with some challenging holes. Take some extra balls if your direction is not that accurate as the water obstacles and bushes will steal them from you and hide them rather well. There may be a slight delay where the two nine holes courses meet however it was a very good days golf. Well worth a visit.
